Joe February 21, 2013 for Model Number bosch shu5312uc/06 dishwasher I have had this machine for about 12 yrs, after the original warrantee expired the machine stopped cycling. Repairman came and changed the control module and said it was a common problem. A few years later I had the same problem so I ordered the module thru your company and the problem was solved. Last week the machine would go on (pump water out) but would not fill with water and would not shut down, so I ordered another module thru you and after I installed it it appeared to work ( pump out, refilled, the soap door opened but went no further. Also when I hit the two buttons to reset to CL the machine would not shut off. You are resending another module because I think the new one might be defective.
1 Answer Hello Joe. If you have issues with the new module, you will need to check for power to the water valve. If it is there, and no fill, replace the valve on the unit. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html Read More...
Donald Cronk February 14, 2013 for Model Number BOSCH DISHWASHER SHU5305UC6 I need to replace the control module for a Bosch dishwasher part number 266746. Model number SHU5305UC/6. You list part number 266746 as a replacement but when I used your compatibility checker, it said this part will not work on my model dishwasher. Seems to be conflicting info. I want to purchase this part as soon as possible, please help.
1 Answer Hello Donald, Sometimes your model won't show up exactly as you have it. In other words your model was listed as SHU5305 UC/06 (FD 7705-7912) with spaces and a range of serial numbers so you likely didn't see it. You are correct, part# 00266746 is the correct control module for your model. Thanks! Read More...
Leah A. February 07, 2013 for Model Number Bosch SGS4352AU/30 The 2H code is showing on the two longest cycles . Do I need a new control panel ? Thanks.
1 Answer Hello Leah. Bosch dishwasher with the code 2H displayed in the digital read out will more than likely need the main control replaced. The 2H means there is a heating issue, you need a multimeter to diagnose properly but here is a good sign the board is bad. Remove the dishwashers control panel, do so by removing the screws around the door, Bosch uses torq head screws on most of their appliances. With the screws removed the control panel will release and fall forward, you will need to UN clip the control board from the plastic housing. On the bottom of the control there are several locking tabs, depressing them with a small screwdriver will release the board from the housing. With the dishwasher control removed you can now open the plastic housing, the heater relay will be burnt, look for the missing or black solder mark on the board. If so, replace the control board in the unit. Read More...
Chuck February 05, 2013 for Model Number Bosh #SHU5312UC Our dishwasher has quit clealning. The water pressure is so low it won't spin the spray arms. The water pressure on the drain cycle ot real low also. I have removed and cleaned the screens and found no problem. Could the control module be the problem, we have had recuring trouble with it in the past.
1 Answer Hello Chuck. You need to check the water level in the unit and make sure it is correct. If it is low, you will need to order and replace the water valve 00425458 on the unit. It will cause the issue you are having if the water pressure is bad. Read More...
D.B. January 31, 2013 for Model Number SHX46A05UC-23 Bosch dishwasher SHX46A05UC-23 Won't turn on (nothing at all). The control module does not light up. Unit is getting AC power to the on/off switch as well as the control module and interlock switch. I checked the ON/OFF switch and its fine. Also checked the interlock OK. Any Ideas where to check next or what to replace? Thanks! D.B.
1 Answer Hello D.B., If you are getting power to the control but no lights and no response, the control 00485916 will have to be replaced. Be sure to program the new control when you install it in order for the cycle times to be correct. Read More...
Bruce December 26, 2012 I think the control module on a black bosch 4 hidden button millenium series dishwasher. the one inside had a number 266746, but it appears different then the one in your illustration. The dishwasher runs but doesnt complete the cycle. What do you think?
1 Answer Hello Bruce, If I could ask you to please re-post with the model number off of the I.D. tag on the edge of your door panel we will be more than happy to assist you. I'm sorry to have to ask you to do this, but all appliances parts are categorized by model number and without it, we are just guessing. Thank you. Read More...
Matt December 24, 2012 for Model Number SHU6805 UC/U06 Dispenser won't open. I replaced the spray arm with no results. Actuator wasn't functioning so I replaced the entire assembly but no luck. Then I got smart; diagnostics mode showed no codes and the resistance at the actuator looked good at 2160 ohms. I don't have a ampmeter that'll go above 10A, but the heater seems to be working fine as it gets plenty hot. I opened the control board and voila: a burnt resistor and busted component (looks like a tiny logic chip?) missing half its mass located in the .2-2 pin from the dispenser. Now, before I spend $150 on yet another part, what's your opinion that a new control board is going to do the trick?
1 Answer Hello Matt, If there is a burned component on the control and everything else on the unit is working, it is a good assumption that this will correct the issue. Read More...

Amy December 17, 2012 for Model Number SHU6805UC11 FD8002 Several of my buttons no longer activate their cycle so I assume I need a new control module. Is this the correct module? It seems one area of the website says it is compatible and then when I check it for compatibility it says it isn't. What should I believe? Also, is this something "easy" to install if you are mechanically inclined?
1 Answer Hello Amy, The correct control for the model number you listed is 00266746, MFG Part Number: 266746. If you need the jumper wire also, the part number is 00167782, MFG Part Number: 167782. When you get the door panel off and you are ready to remove the control, there are three tabs made on the bottom of the control that have to be depressed to release it from the panel assembly. I start on one end and work my way to the other end. These tabs are on the bottom as you look at the control in position. The hardest part is programming the control. Be sure to check the rinse and hold cycle for 18 to 24 minutes after you get it programmed. To check the program, turn the machine on with the control hanging by the wires, (not on the control panel yet), and the control panel snapped into the door lock position. If the rinse and hold cycle is over 30 minutes, the program you put in is incorrect. If you would like an illustrated instruction sheet, re-post with an e-mail address and we can send it to you. Since it has pictures, it cannot be posted in this format. Read More...
