1 Answer Hello Frank, The "F" code is part of the control boards' self diagnostic circuit. It indicates the general area in the units' circuitry where a problem has been sensed by the board. Read More...
Laura August 09, 2013 for Model Number Bosch Dishwasher SHU6805UC/U12 I purchased a new control module order #3560948 and I can't figure out how to get the old one out. I was told something about 3 notches on the bottom need to be depressed, but I don't see them. Also, do I need to program the new control module? Thanks
1 Answer Hello Laura, You cannot see the notches. You just have to use a small screwdriver and press up on one end while applying a bit of outward pressure on the control, press toward the center while continuing the pressure, then toward the other end. If you continually apply a slight outward pressure on the control as you slide the screwdriver across the bottom you can actually feel when you hit the notch. Don't bother looking for the notches. You cannot see them. If you look at the new part, you can see where the notches are from the small cutouts. The new control will have to be programmed. The part will have instructions with it since every one programs differently. Please let us know if you do not receive the instructions and we will get a copy out to you. Read More...
Larry July 29, 2013 for Model Number SHE46c02UC My Bosch dishwasher cycles down to 1 minute but continues to make noise like it's still washing like it is not going through all the cycles. Could the "1" be an error code? What is the probable cause and can I fix it myself?
1 Answer Hello Larry. You have a leak in the base and the float is stuck up and is keeping on the pump. You need to fix the water leak and dry out the base of the unit. Read More...
Paul July 23, 2013 for Model Number SHU5302UC/U06 My Bosch dishwasher stopped working in the middle of a wash cycle. Now the controls don't work (indicator lights don't come on) and the machine won't start. Checked the main breaker panel and no breakers are tripped. I'm thinking that the main control module went bad. Is this the likely cause? If I purchase the replacement part from you and this turns out not to be the problem, can I return the part?
1 Answer Hello Paul, First remove the kick panel and check in the electrical connection box down there for melted wire nuts. If they look good, you need to check the power switch for continuity when it is in the on position. If it tests good, next check the door switch. If all this checks good, the board has most likely failed. If you order the part and install it, you can still return it with in 365 days by simply calling for a return authorization. Let us know if you require further assistance. Read More...
Rp July 01, 2013 for Model Number Bosch Dishwasher SHU5304UC/UO6 hi, i have read all the other questions and answers, but havent seen one like mine. My dishwasher finished its cycle properly and as usual reads CL - which i assume means clean. It won't do anything and the CL is allways on. Does this mean control board time ?
1 Answer RP, If the unit has an on off switch then you will want to power the unit off and then back on. If this does not work then the control board would be the most likely cause of failure. Read More...
Mark B. June 22, 2013 for Model Number Bosch SHU 5306UC At first the unit would not drain. I cleaned the sump and blew out the lines, cleaned the vent, and checked the continuity of the water inlet. There was no continunity so I got a new inlet. It still begins the cycle at 13 and counts down to 1 and then keeps running. I checked the control module and found the burnt black spot on the board and resoldered. I started a new cycle and again it begins on 13 and cycles down to one and holds. But now there is steam so I guess the heater works but what is keeping it from completing the cycle? Also the water still remains in the bottom of the unit. Could a bad drain pump be causing the problems of not completing the cycle because it still senses water in the sump?
1 Answer Hello Mark, The drain pumps on these are notorious for stopping from debris in the sump area. It doesn't take much to damage the drain pumps' windings. If the board had burned contacts on it, I wouldn't trust it. When excessive current burns a connection, remember that everything in that circuit had the same excessive current on it. I would replace the drain pump and the board should be replaced also. Read More...
Carolyn K May 04, 2013 for Model Number Bosch dishwasher SHU 53020? My dishwasher seems to running fine until it gets to 1 minute left. It continues to run and when I open the door, water is coming out of the arms and the bottom is full of water. The soap door is open and water is not leaking out so it must be draining out or it's recycling the water. When I push the scrub/delicate buttons, it drains and resets to CL. However, when I run it again, it does the same thing and won't stop after 1 minute.
1 Answer Carolyn, You will want to check all your wiring from the control board down to make sure that there are no broke, corroded or damaged wiring. If the wiring checks ok then the most likely cause of failure would be the control module 00266746. Read More...
Al April 11, 2013 for Model Number SHU5315UC /06 Replaced the 266746 had another sent , how do I test the other heating parts with a multimeter?

Rod S. April 08, 2013 for Model Number SHU6806UC/U06 It looks like your part has a different wire connection than my original part but I belive your part is the one I need. Is that what you mean by needing a jumper?
1 Answer Hello Rod, When you remove the old board, as a general rule, if it has a jumper, it will be necessary for the new board to operate properly. If the old board doesn't have a jumper, it is usually not needed for the model in question. I was able to find a note in a parts listing that shows that "SHU53 needs coding plug (jumper) 167782 sold separately". You should read the instruction sheet for the part closely to determine if your model specifically needs it or not. Read More...
Karl March 10, 2013 for Model Number SHU5312UC6 I replaced a control module w/2H error code with a new module and connected the jumper plug as it was on the old board. The new module showed a 2H error code again on the second cycle. Is the jumper plug used on the new module? Is there potentially something else wrong?
1 Answer Karl, The 2H error code is an indication that the last wash cycle was too long, greater than 99 minutes. This could be that the water is coming into unit is too cold or the heater system has a fault. Possibly a bad heater, Hi-limit, flow switch, NTC, or control module heater relay. Since the control unit was just replaced you will want to test the other parts of the heating system. Also check for broken wires that come through door that go to the heater circuit. Read More...
