Mike W. November 28, 2014 for Model Number Thermador PCG364ED-B I have a Thermador Range Top model PCG364ED-B and the simmer control module is burned out. The control board has the following information on it; ARK-LES Corporation P/N 543 90 001 150mA 60Hz 120VAC BSH 9000174738 Rev A. Does the bosch control unit replace the simmer control unit? If not, do you carry the simmer control module for this range top?
1 Answer Hello Mike, It looks like the controller will need to be replaced with fixing kit 00619016. Read More...
James C. March 21, 2014 for Model Number PDR484GGZS/07 When I turn on my griddle, I get no ignition or gas. We have tried the following parts with no success. AP28333971, a gas tap, AP3782867 a Thermostat-griddle, and a part I have not received, AP3782975 a potentiometer . I can't locate this part and could use your help in locating it. They also recommended an AP45359679 if the last part doesn't work. I would appreciate it if you can think of any other part that might be causing the problem Since I purchased over $200.00 in parts, and had to return them for credit. Thanks for your help
1 Answer Hello Jim, Part number 00645446 is an available part and even shows in stock. This is the redesigned version of the potentiometer. It is the part you will have to order for the "start switch" for this model. The AP3782975 will not work in this application as per the parts cross from Thermador. Read More...
Mark May 06, 2012 for Model Number SGSX456 Customer reports that unit start "sparking" all by it's self at varying times of the day and night but very intermitantly otherwise when being used works fine. Turing power to unit OFF then ON again solves the problem---untill the next time. Both potentiometers have been replaced and no spark switches are "shorted". It must be either the Control Module or the Spark Module--but which one? If I try what you suggest and that does not solve the problem can I return the part? Thanks, Mark
1 Answer Hello Mark. Check and make sure there is no moisture in the unit. If there is moisture there, it will cause the unit to spark like that. If there is no moisture there, you will need to replace the control unit 00645446 on the unit. Also, make sure none of the switches are bad on the unit or have any moisture in them. Read More...
Gra January 14, 2012 for Model Number sgsx304 Our sgsx304 (4 burner w/simmer on the two left burners) works fine except that once lit, the right rear sparker/ignighter sparks almost continuously. The right front ignihter sparks a lot when turned down. Is the controller the correct part to replace? Also, is this the correct controller for me cooktop? Thx.
1 Answer Hi Gra. Your spark switch that is on the burner valve shaft may be shorted. Its job is to send the voltage to the ignition module as you are calling for ignition. Part # 00189008. You can also temporarily unhook one side of the sw. wires and tape it with elect. tape to test to see if this is the issue or possibly the control unit part # 00645446. Thank You. Read More...

1 Answer Hello Mark. If the control unit 00645446 is bad, it can prevent the griddle from lighting. Hope this helps. Read More...
