For Bosch Washer Drain Pump (Part Number: OEM11994603)

Sam for Model Number Bosch clothes washer WFK 2401

A few days ago I ordered a replacement drain pump from appliance pros. I received it yesterday and installed it this morning. The installation went well. However when the machine failed to operate with the old pump this is what happened. At the end of the final spin cycle the machine gave the usual flashing CL (complete) message in the LED display and beeped. The clothes were very wet and when removed there was quite a bit of water in the washer. I tried to perform the drain cycle but the machine was stuck in the CL mode and none of the buttons respond. It is still in that mode even after installation of the new pump. Is there a way I can reset the machine? please advise. Your service was great I got my new pump in two days. Thanks for your help.

Hello Sam. Unplug for about 30 minutes. If the issue continues, you will need to replace the control board in the unit.

My clothes washer completed a wash cycle and showed the flashing CL in the digital display. However the clothes were not spun dry and the washer has a lot of water in it. I tried to set the washer to drain but it is unresponsive in any setting. I performed the error code procedure and got the 03 error code once but have since tried it and am getting the 00 code. The drain tube is not obstructed as far as I can tell. Do I need to replace the pump? I have had issues with this machine in the past not spinning dry and have had to do an additional spin cycle to get the clothes spun out. Also what part is the replacement pump for this model. Thanks SAM

Hello Sam. If the pump is not working, and the hoses or pump is not clogged, you will need to replace the drain pump on the unit.

Hello Richard, If you have a wet-vac, remove the screens and the torx headed screws to access the pump impeller. Use the wet-vac in this area to remove the glass chips.

Hello Michael. There should be a clip on the terminal of the wire. You will bend it out to catch inside the connector. Then insert the wire and terminal into the connector until the clip snaps into place.
