Richard November 20, 2013 for Model Number SHX33a06uc-14 My dishwasher was not circulating water under pressure, so I removed the circulating pump, since this is the common cause. When I took the plastic cover off the motor, the impeller (green) was separated from the plastic disc which is attached to the motor. I reassembled the parts, and the impeller does not stay engaged. So, I do not think it is the motor, but the impeller. Can this be repaired? Thanks
1 Answer Hello Richard, If the impeller has separated from the motor shaft, the only fix is to replace the pump motor 00239144. Read More...
Mike September 30, 2013 for Model Number Bosch SHY56A05UC/14 My dishwasher will drain and the timer counts down but the washer does not fill or pump any water. I was told that I need a new motor circulating pump. If this is correct the replacement you show does not have a jumper between the two middle lugs. I assume it has some electronics in the plastic case. Do I just use the old jumper? Thanks
David August 17, 2012 for Model Number SHV66AO3UC/14 I need to remove the base to get to the pump. How do I get the base off? I removed the screws in the front but dont see any others and im a little afraid just to muscle it off.
1 Answer Hello David, The base should not be removed from the unit. The unit should be "clamshelled" as per the manufacturer. This is how they train their authorized technicians to complete the job. Basically, you remove the screws in the front and two in the rear, (one on each side which requires the bodyside to be removed on the right side),(the bodyside is held on by several screws down the front inside the door and if I remember correctly, they are at least partially hidden by the black rubber seal), to release the base enough to pull the base apart far enough to replace the pump motor. If you completely separate the base, you will create a leak almost guaranteed. This is actually a bit easier with a second set of hands to hold the base apart a bit from the tub assembly while you reach in and change the motor out. Read More...
Bob March 17, 2012 for Model Number Bosch Dishwasher SHX46L05UC118 The dishwasher ends its complete wash and has a fair amount of water in the bottom. The pump pushes water out, I can see and hear it in the air trap. I will remove the drain hose and check for an obrstuction. If none found my guess is a pump that does not move enough volume.
1 Answer Hi Bob. Check the pump for obstructions or if the impellor has become loose on the motor shaft. Loop the drain hose and secure it as far up as you can under the sink. This creates a p-trap and then taught into the sink drain. This may be why it is back draining. Make sure the sink drain has not clogged. Use a screwdriver to see if the drain is open. Pump Part # 00437345. Thank You. Read More...
Jimb March 17, 2012 for Model Number SHV99A03UC/14 It's making a whirring noise that seems to be coming from the bottom right of the machine. It doesn't make the noise when it is draining so I don't think it is the pump making the noise. It also doesn't look like the arms are moving. Not sure. There is water coming from them when I open the door but they appear to remain in the same position. Thoughts?
1 Answer Hi Jim. Part # 00437345 is an assembly, the pump and motor are together. If the unit is not pumping the water out first you would need to unhook the drain hose and check for a stopped up drain or hose that's where I would start. You may have an item stuck inside the pump impeller damaging the vanes and making it have the sound. Thank You. Read More...
Dale November 21, 2011 for Model Number shu66c06uc/14 I filled it with water and it still didn't push water through the arms. Why would pump just stop pumping? The motor works fine I tested it.
1 Answer Hello Dale. There are two pumps on this model. The one that moves the water is the circulation pump 00437345. If the impeller is bad inside the pump, it will not move water. It sounds like you need to replace the pump motor assembly. Hope this helps. Read More...

1 Answer Hello Dale. Check and see if the water level inside the unit is low. If so, you will need to replace the water valve 00425458. If the water level is good, make sure all the filters are clean inside the unit. If so, replace the circulation pump 00239144. Hope this helps. Read More...
