1 Answer Hello Michelle, This is a two man job. The unit will have to be pulled out from the wall as the control is mounted to the bottom rear of the unit. Discontinue the power supply to the unit to prevent personal injury. The bottom cover will have to be removed from the back and use a pair of needle nosed pliers to release the board from its' retaining clips which stand it off from the steel frame. Now, disconnect one wire and place it on the new control. Disconnect the next wire and place it on the new control. Continue one wire at a time until all of the wires are transferred to the new control. You may have to select certain wires to start with as the manufacturer didn't make the wires terribly long. Once this is complete, following the instructions with the new control as many of the controls have been modified for unit efficiency, replace the cover and if possible, before moving the unit again, test the unit to insure the initial issue has been resolved. Gene M. July 02, 2012 for Model Number PDR364GDZS I purchased the PC Board, Part No. 676192/AP4434213 for the Thermador Professional Range. Unfortunately the control board has been changed from the original. The Bosch Specification sheet (enclosed in the box) refers to "PRO-27 Ranges". Since my range is a Dual Fuel Range, I referenced the Dual Fuel portions of the Spec Sheet. There are two sections: Pro-27 Dual Fuel and Pro-24 Dual Fuel. 1. Which one do I reference. There is the Pro-27 36" DF range and the Pro-24 36" DF range. Which one applies to my range? Under the "Instructions on Wire Connectors for the NEW EGO Control Board" - second page of the Bosch Spec Sheet - "Multi Pin connector mappings", Model Selection Interface - "N/A (see page 1) . 1. What is it I am looking for on page 1? Note: There were no jumper cables in the box sent to me. (it is being sent 07/02/2012).
1 Answer Hello Gene, I would reorder the P.C. board 00676192. I have had issues in the past with them sending a part that had been opened before I ever got it or they just didn't include the parts to begin with. Please realize that we are a parts distributor and we do not package the parts. This is done by the manufacturers. There should be complete instructions with the part also. Page one I believe, if memory serves me, is the reference that indicates which jumper(s) are cut out of the adaptor for your particular model to operate properly with the replacement board. Gene June 28, 2012 for Model Number PDR364GDZS (GAS RANGE/ELECTRIC OVEN) Yesterday the oven would only heat to about 175 degrees. It will not heat at all now. When the oven is selected on, wither convection bake or bake, the blue lights come on. When convection bake is selected, the convection fan comes on and when bake or convection bake is selected the rear vent fans come on. No heat! I have checked the Hi Temp Cut Out and find the red cb's okay (in). I have checked the power to the Hi Temp Cut Out and find 120v to each. What should I check next or is the solution the Pc Board? $$$$$
1 Answer Hello Gene. You need 240 volts to the unit. If the voltage is good, and the high limits are good, you will need to replace the control board in the unit. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Matthew B. May 03, 2012 for Model Number Pgr364gdzs/01 I have a thermador professional . When I turn the oven to bake, it ignites and the blue light is on. However, as soon as I turn the temperature dial, the oven shuts off. Also, when I turn the selector dial to broil or clean, no lights appear. Only the bake will ignite. I ordered from you all the oven thermostat / potentiometer (624610) but that did not solve the problem. What is the problem with this unit?? Many thanks, Matthew
1 Answer Hi Matthew. There are 5- different electronic devices on your unit. Find the supplied wiring diagram sheet in the bottom front panel of your unit. Use a volt/ohm meter part #@ MA-DM1 to assist you in your diagnostics. Access the main board on back of the unit and see the 2 violet Wires at the P -2 terminal ? Disconnect them and check the oven sensor part # 00627375 for 1050 ohms. Rotate the wires as you check them. You need to ohm the selector switch for continuity on all post as marked from the common input terminal. It is part # 00623837. Electronic control board Located at the back lower left side of the oven.The control board regulates the temperature based on the signal it receives from the oven sensor and the resistance input from the thermostat (potentiometer). Part # 00624610. Remove the Static from your hands by touching the chassis body 3-4 times. So you do not induce any electricity into a board. After removing the board, look at it to see if there are any burnt traces on the board. Remove the Static from your hands by touching the chassis body 3-4 times. I suspect This board output relays are not operating correctly. You can temporarily bypass this to see if the unit stays operating and this is the issue being weak and opening the circuit prematurely. Check All connection for tightness. Turn the selector to bake and the thermostat to 350F. K10 relay closes sending 120VAC to input terminal of selector and out through the bake contact to P7. The bake relay K3 is then energized and sends 120AC to the gas liter. The gas liter energizes the gas solenoid valve opening it and allowing gas to flow, at the same time sending 14,000VDC to the igniter igniting the burner. Make sure the bake gas valve solenoid ohms out to be able to open the gas valve part # 00489571. The main board part # 00676192. There is a oven thermostat part # 00487206 that needs to ohm closed. Brian April 18, 2012 for Model Number pg304bs Hello, my thermador oven wont bake and wont broil. The bake burners get ignited but then go off. Same thing with the broil, the ignitors light up and then a flame comes on but then shuts off, but ignitors remain red.
1 Answer Hello Brian, This sounds like an air flow switch may be failing. The unit has a cooling fan in the back behind the panel. When the fan comes on, the air vane activates a microswitch. If the microswitch is intermittent or stuck, the flame will go out very soon after ignition. If more assistance is needed, could I ask that you please double check your model number? Phil March 07, 2012 for Model Number PRG364GDZS When I turn the unit to Convection Bake the burner will come on and the temp dial goes up slowly like it should. After the burner shuts off the convection fan starts but as soon as the burner turns on again the burner won't stay on and the dial temp dial goes up and down with the thermostat. After the initial heating the temperture in the oven won't go above 150 and the fan won't start when the burner goes off. Any ideas? Phil

Phil February 02, 2012 for Model Number PDR304ZS/05 While in self-clean mode (approx 30 min into cycle), heard popping and saw bright white flashed through the vent of the low back. Oven blue lights and red cleaning light stayed illuminated. Turned cleaning cycle to OFF. Was able to open the door within 30 seconds...inside was lukewarm. What failed?

Tim January 10, 2012 for Model Number thermador model pg366bs/04 Oven has been recently self cleaned. When you set the oven to bake,the lights come on and unit starts to heat up. The thermostat gauge will climb up to set point,after opening oven up while cooking the oven is cool if you turn it off then back on the gauge will drop down and the oven will start heating again, sometimes it reaches temp and stays sometimes not. Also 2 times when turning the oven on nothing happened. Looking for support before spending 400$ for the part.
1 Answer Hi Tim. If the oven sensor is going bad it will have the same effect. Part # 00627375. It normally gives a F-3 code. Remove the back and ohm out the sensor at 1080 - 1,100 ohms. This is a common occurrence with age. I would definitely check this first before the control board. Make sure that your door gasket is still spongy. If it is hard then the temperatures will escape. 1 Answer Hello Kelly. Pull out range to gain access to rear of unit. Unplug the unit. Remove both lower panel covers to access relay board. Release the relay board from the support posts and fold over. Mount the new board, remove wires & plugs one at a time from old board & transfer to new board 00676192. Reinstall in reverse order.
