Ian for Model Number SHEM78W55N/01

Hi guys Just viewing your great video on how to replace sump assembly on dishwasher SHEM78W55N/01 https://www.appliancepartspros.com/bosch-sump-668102-ap4483459.html I'm in the middle of replacing mine due to a slight leak and accidently remove the water switch motor from the water diverter and moved the small plastic cog within. I'm should it must have a set position enabling it to operate the water diversion correctly. As the cog sits on a spline, it can be placed back many ways so I need to know how it sits or maybe the motor resets itself?. I should have unscrewed the water diverter only as per your video. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thx Ian

Ian, It should reset itself when you turn the unit. on. There will be a positional based switch that will activate to tell it is in the correct position.

Steve, these error codes are showing that the unit has a blockage not allowing the unit to drain. You may want to check the drain pump housing, drain check valve, drain hose, and the inlet where the unit drains into for any clogs. If there are no clogs, then the issue would be with the drain pump [00631200] which can be removed by removing the base from the tub. Once the base is removed, the drain pump is removed by pressing the locking tab and rotating counter clock wise.

Grant, To remove the base you will need to pull the unit out and on the back there will be 2 screws on the back corners and 2 on the front corners that would need to be removed. Once removed lay the unit on its back and the base will come off.
