Bob December 28, 2014 for Model Number 701035 - Dacor Stainless door hinge Hello, I bought the 701035's. the hinge arm on the right side is bent. i think the rivets that hold the arm gave way, and the arm bent. when fully opened, the hinge arm does not go back far enough to let the lock latch up over the hinge arm notch to disengage the door. I cannot access the screws to loosen the hinge at all. I'm off by only millimeters. any way to "trick" the door into the locked position to remove it? thanks, Bob
1 Answer Bob, The only way to get this would be to use vise grips to get the door off. If you pinch down on the hinge so that it will not spring back when you lift the door off. Make sure that you use a cloth or something so that you do not chip the enamel of the oven. Read More...

Walter R July 29, 2014 for Model Number PCS130S What is the easiest way to replace the door hinge receivers after the door has been removed from the oven. The oven has been removed from its cabinet and is accessible from all four sides.

Greg May 01, 2014 for Model Number RSD305/H I noticed that my door was not closing fully, maybe by 1/4-1/2". Then, last night the door stopped opening fully to just past 45 degrees. As you look at the oven opening the left hinge looks like t is bent slightly (in the little hole that it comes out of in the door). Does this sound like a hinge issue only? If so, do you know what the hinge model number is? Thank you
1 Answer Hello Greg, The part number for the hinges in a set of two is 701035. As long as the door liner DE81-08123A and the hinge receivers DE81-05658A, (also a set of two), are not bent, the hinge set should take care of the issue. Read More...

Dacorguy January 04, 2014 for Model Number pcs130b What is the procedure to replace the oven door hinges on this dacor oven? Thank you
1 Answer Dacorguy, To replace the hinge the door will need to be removed. To remove the door you will open the door to the fullest opening and once fully open there is a pivot hinge that will go over the hook of the hinge on either side. Once it is hooked close the door and it will stop at a certain point and you can lift off. When you have the door off you will need to disassemble the door to replace the hinge. There should be 2 screws at the top side of the door (one on each side) and 3 at the bottom that you will remove to lift the front panel off. Once off there would be 2 screws on the holding the hinge in place. Remove and lift out the hinge. Reassemble in reverse. Read More...
Jerry M. December 09, 2013 for Model Number dacor m/n pcs230 s/n va0282197 This is a double oven 13 yrs old. We have had a problem since it was new with both doors not closing fully. When we first talked to dacor they told us this was normal but there is a heavy duty hinge available, but they would charge us for it, which we declined at the time. I have found two dacor p/ns for a replacement- 701034 & 701035. Is one a heavy duty? Which one would you advise using? Please provide pricing and availability. Thanks in advance for your help.
1 Answer Hello Jerry! Neither of the two door hinge kits are listed as "Heavy Duty". However, door hinge kit part number 701035 is used for the stainless model which has a heavier door. This kit will work on your model. Thanks. Read More...
