Dan December 26, 2012 for Model Number ECD230 DACOR double wall oven What is the difference in hinges 701034 and 701035 can you use either one for an Artic model? Is the 701035 a heavier spring and will it last longer?
1 Answer Hello Dan! The artic model uses part number 701034 (701034). The stainless model uses hinge part number 701034 (701035). We do not have the specs available to verify the exact difference, however, stainless models usually do use a more heavy duty spring than original colored doors. Thanks! Read More...

Greg November 04, 2012 for Model Number ecp130s How to replace the door hinge with the door split in half. I am replacing both glass pack and hinges but the hinge is in the locked position. How to remove the door from the oven? There is no space to unlock the small lever, and I also tried putting the door back in split in half to release which I did but no luck. The hinge in a welded clip which the hinge slides into from the inside of door. Help
1 Answer Hi. There is a Latch Lock Lever on the bottom of the latch. If the oven door is in place on the unit, then partially open the door and lock the hinge on both doors. Lift up on the door and then pull the door out and lay it face down on a protected table. If the door is already off, then get 2 pairs of vise grips. Grip tightly the latch where the lock is. Pull It open and release the lock. Latch part # 701035. Thank You. Read More...
