Carl April 18, 2014 for Model Number FEF366ABF When oven is preheating to 350° the oven light goes out before the preheat light goes out. Is this normal? The bake element, temperature probe and broil element all tested okay. I just installed an electronic control panel that cost me $200 from a local appliance store and it did not seem to help. The oven is not maintaining temperature.
1 Answer Hello Carl. It sounds like the temp probe 316233903 is bad and will need to be replaced on the unit. Read More...

Doug September 22, 2013 for Model Number 790.95302100 Oven temp will not always reach set point, sometimes off by 50 degrees. Then again, sometimes it is o.k. ????
1 Answer Doug, You will want to check the oven sensor to make sure that it is around 1090 ohms at room temperature. If the resistance is not correct then replace the oven sensor. Also check the wiring between the control board and the oven sensor to make sure that there is no damage and has continuity through it. Read More...

Jay July 23, 2013 for Model Number 790.95410102 My wife was using the oven one day when the broil element and the oven element both came on at the same time and got really hot! She tried to turn them off, but the controls were dead. I flipped the breaker, that was the only way to get the elements to go off. When the breaker was turned back on, the elements came back on... It's almost like it is stuck in self-clean. The stove top works fine, so I disconnected the elements from the control panel in the back and have not had a problem with it since. I assume the board is bad??? Didn't want to spend $400+ on a new oven if I can fix this one... Thanks
1 Answer Hello Jay. Based on the information you provided, you will need to replace the control board on the unit. Read More...
1 Answer Hello Merrilee, Make sure the unit is unplugged from the power supply and remove the top rear panel. This will expose the clock assembly. Remove the four screws securing the clock to the control panel. Now remove one wire and transfer it to the new clock. Transfer the next and so on until all wires have been transferred to the new part. This prevents cross wiring. Now peel off the old overlay and transfer it to the new clock assembly, unless the new clock came with a new overlay. If it did, be sure to peel off the protective coating at this point. Re-install the new clock in the reverse order of the units' dis-assembly. Read More...

Ron R. March 24, 2013 for Model Number FEF366ASF Periodically the stove will lose power when there has been no power interruption in the house. Sometimes the the power will be off for a minute or so, then the clock will start flashing. If the elements on the stovetop are in use they will stay on, but the oven stops heating. After a short period of time the unit appears to reset all by its self. The power supply (voltage to receptacle), cord, and terminal block are all in excellent condition. Do you advise replacing circuit board/timer on range? Thanks, Ron
1 Answer Hello Ron. If all wiring and power supply is good, then you will need to order and replace the control on the unit. Read More...
