Hello Shelly, Pull the unit out from the wall and unplug it. Then remove the six screws holding the panel on at the top behind the control panel. At this point, I recommend to take a few pictures from different angles with your cell phone for reassembly reference. Remove the four screws holding the clock assembly in. Remove the four knobs and the two screws from behind each that secure the infinite switches in place. There should be a couple of little indicator lights for the surface. These slide off of the lens. Removal of any wires is completely unnecessary as the components can simply hang from the wires while the panel is being changed. The only exception to this is the rocker switch as it has to be removed from the front of the panel, so the wires must be removed from it. Remove the screws in the front and rear of each end of the panel which hold the end caps on. Be sure to keep up with all of the parts and if necessary, place them in order so you can reassemble in the reverse order.

Roger, you'll need to, turn power off or unplug the power cord, slide the range out, remove both th upper and lower rear cover panels to access the control and the lower wiring harness to the ellements and check the wiring for damage, burnt, broken or loose connections first. If all's OK you'll need to consider a new control 316207511 or check for the 120 VAC out of the control on the "BK" and the "L2" terminal of the control, with the wires disconnected and the range in a bake mode, with a temperature selected, with a multimeter. Here's some meter usage information should you need it,:[ http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html] Good Luck and Thanks

John for Model Number 790.95423302

Hello, I have a Kenmore stove /oven.-model # 79095423302. It is about 7 years old and has worked fine the entire time. The stove top and the oven are both heating up, but just a little bit, even though they are on "high". When I turn everything off, the clock goes out. What do you think is happening? And now an update: Nothing is heating up! When I try turning anything on the clock turns on and blinks, and a buzzing sound comes out of it for a second. I tried resetting it by unplugging and replugging it, and when I hold down the up and down temp the code E 93.

Hi Laurie. We can help you better if you will look in by your fresh food controls and find a model and serial #. Also is your inside the freezer back wall, is there frost build up? If so then this is a defrost issue that causes a no- cool. See if your compressor is running? Thank you.

Hello Bob! Are both the bake and broil functions not working? If so, make sure that the you are getting the proper 240v to the unit and the clock 316207511 is sending the voltage to the terminals. If the clock is not sending the voltage, it will need to be replaced. If only the bake is not working and it is getting the voltage, the bake element 316202200 will need to be replaced. You can test these with a multimeter MA-DM1. Here is a link from our free repair forum you can refer to for help with using a multi meter. Hope this helps, thaks! http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html
