Wayne for Model Number gallery series even cook convection oven

3 issues now regarding the clock/timer unit. the P10 box next to the lower right side of the transformer has no pins on the circuit board for the connector that is being used on the old unit. The printed face plate on the old unit is glued on. i'm sure it will break if I were to try removing it. The P5 connector on the old unit is a wire harness that originates from the front of the unit behind the face plate itself. I can send photos. HELP!

Mickie for Model Number PLES389ECD

I had a dual element control (31641801)that the thread broke on so it was loose, and when I was trying to figure out what was wrong with it - pushed it down to where it made contact with the thermostat switch (316441801) right under it. That seemed to have shorted out my clock/timer board. Burners worked but nothing on the clock/timer oven control. I've replaced the two parts mentioned by number - is there a fuse that I can check that may have been blown when the two made contact?

Mickie, On the back of the unit there will be a thermal cutoff that you will want to check to make sure that it is not tripped. It should have a button on it that you would push in on and if it will not reset then the thermal would need replaced.

Michael, Check the light socket from the brown to chassis ground and see if there is voltage with the light turned on at the control. If there is no power then the oven control board is faulty and would need to be replaced.

Ric, If you pull the unit out there should be 2 thermostats on the back. Check both thermostats for continuity. If there is no continuity and they have a red button then push the button. It sounds like the issue may be a faulty control board that has failed. If the control board has failed it will cause the unit to shut off completely.

William, Based on the testing that you have done, it does sound like the oven electronic control has failed and would need to be replaced. The relay on the board has essentially failed. The oven control board is part number 316418735.
