Wayne August 30, 2016 for Model Number gallery series even cook convection oven 3 issues now regarding the clock/timer unit. the P10 box next to the lower right side of the transformer has no pins on the circuit board for the connector that is being used on the old unit. The printed face plate on the old unit is glued on. i'm sure it will break if I were to try removing it. The P5 connector on the old unit is a wire harness that originates from the front of the unit behind the face plate itself. I can send photos. HELP!

Wayne August 30, 2016 for Model Number don't know I just got the part and took the back off the stove. The unit in place looks very much the same except there is a wire clip running to the P10 post to the right of the transformer. On the replacement unit, there are no pins in that spot.

Paul July 26, 2016 for Model Number PLES389ECB I get a F30 code on the control panel. I tried looking for the two thermal overload switches in this circuit, however I could not find them. The only thing that works is the four burners.
1 Answer Hello Paul. Remove the back cover off the unit to access and test the switches. Read More...

Mickie April 08, 2016 for Model Number PLES389ECD I had a dual element control (31641801)that the thread broke on so it was loose, and when I was trying to figure out what was wrong with it - pushed it down to where it made contact with the thermostat switch (316441801) right under it. That seemed to have shorted out my clock/timer board. Burners worked but nothing on the clock/timer oven control. I've replaced the two parts mentioned by number - is there a fuse that I can check that may have been blown when the two made contact?
1 Answer Mickie, On the back of the unit there will be a thermal cutoff that you will want to check to make sure that it is not tripped. It should have a button on it that you would push in on and if it will not reset then the thermal would need replaced. Read More...
Michael April 07, 2016 for Model Number Ples389ECH The oven lights are not working. I replaced both bulbs and still not working. I checked the voltage at the socket and there was none.
1 Answer Michael, Check the light socket from the brown to chassis ground and see if there is voltage with the light turned on at the control. If there is no power then the oven control board is faulty and would need to be replaced. Read More...
Jeff February 20, 2016 for Model Number PLES389ECE The stove top works fine, the oven heats up but won't shut off. It will show on the panel that it's off, but it will not cool down.
1 Answer Hello Jeff, This can be caused by a shorted harness but is most likely a stuck relay on the control 316418735. Read More...
David February 06, 2016 for Model Number PLES389ECG Broiler and self clean feature cuts off after starting. Everything else works fine. Any ideas?

Ric December 20, 2015 for Model Number PLES399ECE The oven broiler was not working but the bottom element was heating ok. After the oven preheated to 400 I placed some cookies in to bake and then the oven went completely out with no lights on the control board at all. I turned the breaker off and on but still nothing?
1 Answer Ric, If you pull the unit out there should be 2 thermostats on the back. Check both thermostats for continuity. If there is no continuity and they have a red button then push the button. It sounds like the issue may be a faulty control board that has failed. If the control board has failed it will cause the unit to shut off completely. Read More...
William March 20, 2015 for Model Number ples399ecg Ok here goes, stove top works fine, broiler works fine, measured 240 volts across broiler wires, continuity test on oven and broiler is fine. When I go to bake I only read 123 volts on one wire and zero on the other side on both broiler and bottom element. Checked power coming in and has 240 have no error codes. I have checked all breakers. Continuity on all sensors elements. Any other ideas before I buy the oven control module?
1 Answer William, Based on the testing that you have done, it does sound like the oven electronic control has failed and would need to be replaced. The relay on the board has essentially failed. The oven control board is part number 316418735. Read More...
