Amber November 27, 2016 for Model Number LAFW3511KB0 We finally replaced the control board to fix our E23 error. Now that the install is complete we are still getting the E23 error :(
1 Answer Amber, You will want to check the wiring between the control board and the pump assembly. If the wiring check ok then you could have a bad then it would likely be a pump issue in which the pump would need to be replaced. Read More...
Amber October 21, 2016 for Model Number LAFW3511KB0 We've been getting the E23 error. We had the washer looked at and told it was the drain relay. Do we need to replace the control panel or something else? Please help! :)
Charlie September 09, 2015 for Model Number ATF6000S1 Washer was beeping on and off and never showed any error codes, changed the door lock assembly and when I first plugged it in, it was fine, no beeping, then when I shut the door and tried to start, it went back to beeping on and off....now what?
1 Answer Charlie, You will want to get the tech sheet out from the unit and put the unit into a diagnostics mode. See if there are any error codes that are stored. It sounds like you may have a bad control board but this is the best option to check it and see what error may come up. Read More...
Lyle August 16, 2015 i have a frigidaire frontloader washing machine and am getting error code E23. I checked the drain pump and lines. I had some change an a bra wire in the trap. Put everything back together and still no dice and still getting E23. What do I need to replace?
1 Answer Hello Lyle, This is most likely going to be a draining issue. You should check for clogs and power to the drain pump during drain. For more a more specific diagnosis, please repost in a new thread with the model number from the units' I.D. tag. Thank you for your patience and understanding in this matter. Read More...

Brian September 30, 2014 for Model Number ATF6700FS2 When the washer was running yesterday, I noticed a burning rubber smell. I was going to get a belt and replace it. Before I could do that, I tried to run it today. It will start and then shut off within 5 seconds. It gives Err message, but no code. I know the difference between burning rubber and electrical motor smell, so confident the motor isn't bad. I also checked the motor and belt, both spin free and look good. Does this sound like the control board?
1 Answer Hello Brian, NOTE: During normal operation, the display may show: “SAn” - deep clean (Sanitary Cycle) “cd” - cool down (Sanitary cycle) “do” or “dr” - door problem. “Err” - an error has been detected. “LOC” - control lock is activated. “PAU” - cycle has been interrupted. READING ERROR CODES: 1. Wake the washer by pressing any button. 2. Wait 5 seconds. 3. Press and HOLD the Start/Pause and Cancel buttons simultaneously. As long as the buttons are held, the failure code will appear in the display as an E followed by two numbers, a number and a letter or two letters. The control will beep and the Door Lock, Wash, Rinse, and Final Spin indicator lights will flash. NOTE: Pressing any button during operation of the cycle will produce flashing indicator lights, beeping and “Err” will be displayed. To change a setting after the cycle starts, press Start/Pause before making the adjustment. Changes made to the cycle will automatically be remembered each time that cycle is selected in the future. If you inadvertently erase the fault code, the unit will operate normally until the fault is sensed again and will once again display ERR, indicating the need to pull the code to lead you to the component at fault. Scott July 24, 2014 for Model Number |ATF6000FS! I'm replacing my control board and forgot to mark down the wire placement and I don't want to plug into the wrong spot. I tried to look up wiring diagrams. I am having trouble.
1 Answer Hello Scott, You can pull the tech sheet from the envelope in the bottom of the unit for the wiring diagram but I do not believe any of the wires will connect where they are not supposed to be connected. Read More...
Chris S. February 18, 2014 for Model Number LTF6700FSO I have my washer elevated about 5 inches off the ground on a rolling dolly. We had a flood in the neighborhood and I had about 10 inches of water in the garage. The washer was about 5 inches deep in the water. I replaced the control board MFG Number 134743500. That was the only part I thought was under water. I am still getting the communication error. The washer was never unplugged. Do you think the electrical control panel MFG Number 137006030 might have got fried?
1 Answer Hello Chris, You will probably need to replace the main control 137006030 and possibly the wiring harness 137104600 also, (because of corrosion that will prevent the boards from communicating with one another. Read More...
