Jerry, You will want to put the unit into service diagnostics and see if there are any error codes showing. If there are the tech sheet will tell you what the code means and what test to do next. This sounds like it could be a speed control, main control or door lock issue.

Hello Nick, Fault code E41 indicates the control board thinks the door switch is open. First, verify the door is closing properly. If so, in the J2 plug on the control, measure the voltage from the black wire to ground with power on. If there is 0Vac, check the door strike. If good, replace the door switch assembly. If there is 120Vac, replace the control board.

Hello Kurt, You should put the unit into the diagnostic mode to pull any fault codes stored. This is dos as follows: 1. Wake the washer by pressing any button. 2. Wait 5 seconds. 3. Press and HOLD the Start/Pause and Cancel buttons simultaneously. As long as the buttons are held, the failure code will appear in the display as an E followed by two numbers, a number and a letter or two letters. The control will beep and the Door Lock, Wash, Rinse, and Final Spin indicator lights will flash. This procedure is the best troubleshooting method of this unit and is used by technicians for diagnosis.
