1 Answer Jerry, You will want to put the unit into service diagnostics and see if there are any error codes showing. If there are the tech sheet will tell you what the code means and what test to do next. This sounds like it could be a speed control, main control or door lock issue. Read More...
Stu August 24, 2020 for Model Number ATF6000FS1 No matter which button is pushed, lights scroll down the desired temperature. Only when I turn the knob to spin do I get err display. Try to retrieve error code pushing start/pause button and cancel, nothing happens. The motor on door lock tested ok. Should I replace the control board?
1 Answer Hello Stu, As per the manufacturer, if the control 137006030 will not go into the diagnostic mode, the control is bad and will need to be replaced. Coop August 26, 2018 for Model Number FAFW3801LW5 I replaced the main circuit board and there are no longer any lights no readout on the LED but I can hear a beep when I push the cancel button. Does this mean the board is bad or is there some kind of reset that needs to be done before it comes back online?
1 Answer Coop, you would have needed to replace the control with part number 137006085, Make sure you took all the light pipes and displays off of the old board and installed them on the new board. 1 Answer Hello Nick, Fault code E41 indicates the control board thinks the door switch is open. First, verify the door is closing properly. If so, in the J2 plug on the control, measure the voltage from the black wire to ground with power on. If there is 0Vac, check the door strike. If good, replace the door switch assembly. If there is 120Vac, replace the control board. Read More...

Kurt February 10, 2017 for Model Number ATF6700FS1 Frigidaire Affinity Washer turns on, seems good to go, door locks, electric noise heard but no water comes in. Checked hoses, filters, etc. Won't do anything on spin only either, so seems not to be related to water intake.
1 Answer Hello Kurt, You should put the unit into the diagnostic mode to pull any fault codes stored. This is dos as follows: 1. Wake the washer by pressing any button. 2. Wait 5 seconds. 3. Press and HOLD the Start/Pause and Cancel buttons simultaneously. As long as the buttons are held, the failure code will appear in the display as an E followed by two numbers, a number and a letter or two letters. The control will beep and the Door Lock, Wash, Rinse, and Final Spin indicator lights will flash. This procedure is the best troubleshooting method of this unit and is used by technicians for diagnosis. Read More...
