Marie March 09, 2018 Recently had a power outage and now the control panel on my Frigidaire Model FFU14F5HW (purchased on 12/14) keeps blinking "High Temp/Door Ajar" light. The buttons to raise/lower temperature or reset alarm are not working - however, the freezer is still maintaining its temperature and nothing is defrosting. Is there a fixable solution? replace control panel or perhaps something easier /less costly? Greatly appreciate your response. Marie

Maria B February 19, 2018 for Model Number FFU21F5HW I believe there is an issue with the control panel. The Hi Temp AND Door Ajar lights continually flutter. No number appears as to the temperature level. It will flutter for months on end and then I will notice water leaking on the floor. At this point the temperature has dropped below freezing. The leaking will usually stop after a day and then temperature will rise back up to freezing. But the lights continue to flutter. Recently, it totally defrosted. I emptied the freezer and shut if off for a week. I turned it back on the lights started fluttering again. The unit finally started freezing after about 3 days. Now, the temperature will display (ex. 5) without fluttering. As soon as you open the freezer, it the Hi Temp and Door ajar lights will start fluttering for days and then stop until the door is opened again. If you think the control panel needs to be replaced, can I do this myself or will I need to call somebody to service it. Your help is greatly appreciated...M

Mike February 15, 2018 for Model Number FKFH21F7HWD My freezer suddenly went to off on the control board. I can't get anything else. If I hold control lock for 3 seconds it reads low, but it will not turn on. I have unplugged and started it over but it still reads the same. What do I need to do? Is there a reset button somewhere I have missed?
Bill January 23, 2018 I have a Frigidaire freezer. When I open it the power seems to turn off and on and then it has power loss. Once I close it. It turns on and seems to work again. Sometimes I have to unplug it and plug it back in. I use the freezer to help feed the community.

The control panel was showing just a dot in the lower right hand corner, plugged/unplugged it a few times to start showing the numbers again.
