Rc January 07, 2012 for Model Number dishwasher FDB105oREB4 When I turn on the washer the sump fills w/water but the spray arm does not turn. I can cancel and drains ok. Water supply is OK and sump htr seems to be working. Moduel or pumP? RC
1 Answer Hello RC. Test for power to the motor 154844301. If there is power there, and the motor does not run to spray the water, you will need to replace the motor kit. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. Hope this helps. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html Read More...
Brenda December 13, 2011 for Model Number FDB1050REB2 I have to manually reset the dishwasher after each wash by flipping the breaker. ALL the lights are flashing!!! Nothing changes whne I puch the buttons, turn the know or open/shut the door. The latch is good, I cleaned the drain area, shut the breaker off for 45 mins..nothing helps. What do I need to replace? In another post it was suggested the control panel, then yet another states it is an issue with the heater and the thermostat. I am handy enough to do either, I just hate to spend $ on the wrong thing. Thanks for you time!

Jdpippo September 07, 2011 for Model Number FDB1050REM4 My dishwasher won't change cycles automatically. I can turn the knob manually but cycle always lights up green beside "Washing".
1 Answer Hi Jd. The heating element is part # 154665201. The thermostat is part # 154290204. The heating element nut is part # 154106202. If these parts are "open" in the circuit then you will have this symptom. Is your incoming water at the sink at least 120 degrees or more? The "timer" will stall and use the heater to raise the tub temperature (if you use heated dry) to 145 or more depending on the options selected. So if it cannot reach temperature then it will remain on wash "green" light flashing. Thank you. Read More...
