Robin, If you connect the connector to the relay, the terminal on the outer edge will be your line feed and the inner terminal will be the neutral.

Hello David. The terminals have locking tabs on them. You have to insert a pick tool into the slots to release the tabs by pressing them down and then the wires will pull our of the start device.

Marcy, if the wires are built into the existing part it will come included with the new part. The manufacturer does not show the wiring in the diagram as a replacement. Thanks!
