Hugues Lajeunesse September 27, 2018 for Model Number cgeb27s7cb1 My lower element stop heating. I did unscrew it, and it came out without wires... Is that normal?!?
1 Answer Hugues, No, That would not be "normal" . There should be two (black) wires attached to the silver 1/4 inch terminals on the end of the element. You may want remove power to the oven and attempt to "fish" the wires out through the opening for the element in the oven back wall or you'll need to remove the oven from the wall and check to see if the wires were damaged, broken, etc. Read More...

1 Answer Hello John, This will have to be a bad relay on the control board 318010900 since the broil option is operational. I'm sorry but this part has been discontinued by the manufacturer and no satisfactory substitutions have been provided. You will need to contact a company like Corecentric Solutions 866-737-2244/ corecentricsolutions.com and ask if they support board 318010900. If so, they can rebuild the board for you. Read More...
