Symptoms of a bad Oven Temperature Probe include:
This OEM Frigidaire part is also compatible with Electrolux, Gibson, Kelvinator and some Kenmore models.
Bought a used Frigidaire 36 inch stove. The broiler didn't come on but the burners lit and the stove worked so I made do for about 4 or 5 years with that. Then the F10 code came up and it wouldn't stop beeping until I unplugged it. I figured the electronics/circuit board was probably bad and ordered a replacement. I was confused about what part to order. The parts list includes "Control Panel" and "Clock - Timer". Turns out the control panels are the glass panel on the front of the stove... Read more

This OEM Frigidaire part can also be used on Electrolux, Frigidaire, Gibson, Kelvinator, Westinghouse, and Sears/Kenmore.
Before we replaced the board, my wife tried to replace just the element. We had one we had ordered several years ago when this same thing happened. When that didn't work we replaced the board and could see where the old board was damaged so we figured this was the solution. It would have been except the bottom element my wife used to replace the old element (which was fine but had been thrown out figuring the new one was new so why keep the old one) was 1" shorter in the back than the old... Common issues that lead to a bad sensor probe include regular wear and tear, exposure to high temperatures over extended periods, or electrical failures within the sensor itself. Physical damage from accidental impacts during cleaning or maintenance can also compromise the sensor's functionality.
Symptoms of a bad sensor probe include:
I replaced the probe which is a thermocouple. Naturally the connector was different from the one on the stove so I cut off the connector on the old probe and soldered it to the new probe. The cleaning of the wires and soldering them was the most time consuming activity of the repair. My wife just tried the stove and the oven temperature read exactly as the setting. Read more

Causes stem from typical wear over years of heating use. Cracks in insulated surfaces or broken coil sections can cause inconsistencies.
This OEM Frigidaire part is also compatible with ranges sold under the Electrolux, Gibson, Kelvinator, and various Kenmore brand names.
Turns out these wall ovens have a pretty common problem, the baking element relay on the back of the control board solder joint fails. We have had this happen on several units recently as we manage several apt complexes. So it was not the baking element at all, just faulty solder joints or something makes the baking element relay lose its solder connection. Read more

A defective switch rocker can result in unresponsive controls, making it challenging to operate the range effectively.
Symptoms of a bad Range Switch Rocker include:
I purchased 2 new light rocker switches, Because the heating element rocker switch was unavailable. First I removed the power source for safety. Then I simply pulled each switch out individually with a flathead screwdriver for leverage. I simply unplugged the wires from the old rocker switch, discarded the old rocker, plugged the wires into the new rocker switch, and pushed the new switch appropriately back into the control panel. I used the same steps for both rocker switches. Once... Read more

Has three terminals.
When trouble shooting the problem I found that the light switch housing outer lip was broken allowing the switch to push through mounting surface behind the oven door. This is a slide in range so, I proceeded to pull the range away from the counter where I could unplug the power cord. Once the power was off like located the panel on the right upper side of the unit and removed the screws to allow access to the switch. I then unplugged the switch from the wiring harness and removed the damaged... Read more

This OEM part is a relay control board for ovens. An oven relay control board is a circuit board that receives signals from the main oven control board. The relay control board then relays the signal to regulate the oven's essential functions. Over time, a relay control board can become overworked. If the oven is no longer turning on, heating properly, or regulating its temperature, it might be time for a new relay board. Luckily, replacing this part is not a difficult process. To replace the relay board, make sure the oven is unplugged. Gain access to the upper back panel on the back of the range and remove the screws. Once the panel is removed access the relay board and remove the wire harness as well as any individual wires attached to the old board. Make sure to take note of the orientation of the wires. Replug the wires into their correct terminals on the new board and snap the new board back in place. Resecure the upper back panel. This genuine replacement part is sold individually and is compatible with Frigidaire, Electrolux, Gibson, Kelvinator, Westinghouse, and Sears/Kenmore brand ovens.
Andrew helped me trouble shoot the problem. First I replaced the elments but that did not fix the problem. When I spoke with Andrew he told me how to test the OHMS on the new and old element and they were both readying 26 OHMS. I then replaced the control panel for the clock and oven controls. This did not fix the problem. The next step was to replace the relay boards. We placed numbers on the wires (~30) to avoid confusion. Taking notes also helped. Replacing both relay swithces took...
