Jim M. March 20, 2013 for Model Number FDB750RCC0 I have a Frigidaire Ultra Quiet III FDB750RCC0 dishwasher, serial number TH43890029. When High temp is selected for wash and rinse cycles, the cycles do not advance at the end of the their cycle. However, if I don't select the high temp settings, the washer cycles thru perfectly. I have taken out the heating element to check for continuity and it appears to not be burned out. What do I check next? thanks.
1 Answer Hello Jim. Test the thermostat undert the bottom and if it and the heater are good, you will need to replace the control on the unit. Read More...
Kevin March 05, 2013 for Model Number FDB2310lCC1 The material on the outside of the heating element is breaking off, should I replace the heating element?
1 Answer Hello Kevin, If the Calrod material is flaking off, it not only makes an unsafe situation, but the element 154665201 is near to burning out any way. I would definitely replace this element. Read More...

Suzanne December 08, 2012 for Model Number FDB105OREB2 I was going to order a new heating element, but tried it one more time. On the "TOP RACK" Setting, the heater element works, but not on Pots and Pans, Normal Wash or Light Wash. Does that mean the timer is bad? Or what?
1 Answer Hello Suzanne, If the heating element is working on all but one cycle, the control module 154712101 has experienced a failure. You still should test the heating element 154665201 and the resettable thermostat 154290204 for continuity. Read More...
Tom H July 19, 2012 for Model Number FDB710LCBO I checked continuity on the heating element above on the tops of the heating element(Note tops were rusty and I felt that I was not getting a good reading) So I tested the two leads at the bottom connections w/o removing the leads and the element tested good continuity. Assuming the heating element is fine I tested the temp on the water and the element during a wash cycle and got the temp of hot tap water. On the options panel I have Hi Heat set on all(e.g. Wash, rinse & Dry). Are the red indicators on the options panel LED lights? If so they are not lit-up in any of the 3 cycles mentioned above. I see the red indicator(led) lit up on the wash cycle to the right of the panel where you have Delay, Wash and Clean LED lights. I just checked the Heating element element in the drying cycle and it is heating up. It is apparent that the heating element is not working in the Wash and probably the Rinse cycle? What is the problem? Do I need a new options control switch or what? Thanks. Tom
1 Answer Hello Tom. If the heater is working, but not during the wash cycle, you will need to replace the timer 154412901 in the unit. Read More...
Tom H. July 19, 2012 for Model Number FDB710LCBO I think my heating element is bad. How can I test it? Can I check the resistance tip to tip with a multimeter? Can the heating element work in some stages but not others(e.g. Drying cycle but not the Wash cycle)?
1 Answer Hello Tom. If you use a multi-meter, the heater 154665201 should read closed for continuity. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. David February 15, 2012 for Model Number FD8510LCS3 First and formost the model number that I wrote down is not coming up so it could be incorrect. The lable that where the model number is found is kind of worn and hard the read. The tenants at my rental property are complaining that their dishes arent drying properly. I was thinking that it is the heating element, but after reading the questions and answers on this site I see that it might be other things. Can you help me without the proper model number?
1 Answer Hello David. The model number is FDB510LCS3. You will need to test the heater 154665201 and the thermostat 154290204 for continuity. They should read closed. If one is open, you will need to replace the part on the unit. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. Hope this helps. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html Read More...
Kieran February 14, 2012 for Model Number 587.15193400 I just had to replace a bad heating element bolt on my dishwasher and now I'm noticing that the water does not get as hot as it used to. The heating element is getting hot(I felt it and can't keep my finger on it for more than a second), but I don't think it's as hot as it should be since I don't get a blast of steam when I open it up mid cycle. Is this a bad heating element or is there something else I should be looking at?
1 Answer Hello Kieran. You will need to test the heater 154665201 and the thermostat 154290204 for continuity. They should read closed. If both are good in the unit, and the wiring is good, you will need to replace the control module 154568301. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. Hope this helps. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html Read More...
Vlad January 29, 2012 for Model Number fdb1050rec0 The wire connector connected to the heating element is burnt on mine. It was probably caused by a leak at the element nut. I can replace the heating element, but how do I replace the wire connector? Its burnt and has black soot it. Do you have a part number? I don't mind splicing the wire.
1 Answer Hello Vlad. You will need to replace the wiring harness 154646301 to repair the issue with the heater connector. Hope this helps. Read More...
