Keanna February 04, 2014 for Model Number fafs4272lw0 Hi, I am attempting to get the door off of my washer because I think the hinge needs to be replaced or the door needs to be tightened because the sag is major. I have tried 3 different phillip head screw drivers without any luck. Is there a certain screwdriver I should use? Thanks.

Mike November 20, 2013 for Model Number ATF8000FS1 I think I have two problems. It started first that the door wouldn't close properly unless you picked up on the door. Would that be a worn out hinge? Secondly, now the door wont stay closed. I was able to push the door in and push the start button to get it to lock and it would work but the open door signal would try to come on. Do I need a new lock assembly? and if so do I need to replace the striker and wiring harness? Thank you Mike

Thomas October 10, 2013 for Model Number LTF6700fso This is a front load Frigidaire Infiniti. The washer kept unlocking and shutting off. I just replaced the door lock and it is doing it just a little now but before it was constant. The door hinge is sloppy. Should I replace that and will it help?

Ashley March 01, 2013 for Model Number ATF7000EGO While taking my frontload washer door apart to put new glass in a tiny piece broke in 1/2 that a screw goes in and it looks like it goes along with the bottom white plastic part of the hinge but not sure. I'm so frustrated because I can't find it in the picture of my washer model. My hinge is fine but that tiny plastic part that a screw went in that seems to go into that white plastic part is broke. I just dont know if this is making any since to you but i need help please!!!!

J. Gilbert May 19, 2011 for Model Number ATF6000E I just bought the washer and dryer at an estate sale. The washer door sags a little so that you can not just shut the door, you have to adjust it up a bit, 1/4" and then shut. It does shut and locks correctly. My question is that if the previous lady leaned on the door, should I try to push back the washer front, under the hinge to bend back the metal? The hinge seems OK.
