Erik April 19, 2018 for Model Number FEF366ECD I need to replace my baking heating element and the bottom pan under the element. Your web site talks about 2 screws in the back edge to take out then angle pan out. I do not have the 2 screws. My pan has 2 spring caps covering the holes and when you take the caps out there are no screws anywhere. I have tried to lift the back of the pan but it acts like there is something holding it someplace. Can you tell me what is holding the pan from coming out and where the possible screws may be located?
1 Answer Erik, According to the information it appears that the panel has 2 screws that should be removed. This is the only way that we know that come the panel would come out. Read More...
Maria August 05, 2017 for Model Number GLEF389HSA The bottom panel of my Frigidaire gallery series range was ruined. I had purchased an oven liner from a local retail store and it melted to the porcelain and ruined the bottom of the oven. Is part AP3731407 the correct part number for the base of the oven? I noticed there are 2 screws in the back to take it out with.
Kris March 13, 2017 Bought a bottom panel for frigidaire oven and got old panel out and new panel in, but for the life of me I cannot get the screws to line up to screw back in. It fits pretty flush with bottom of oven but wasn't sure if it's absolutely necessary that I screw on. Seems to be okay and heats up fine. I tried to remove and put back in several times and to line up screws, but noticed that front of panel that sort of pushes forward was getting small scratches each time I removed and put back in. I even tried leaving screws in panel and lining up but would not work as front has to sort of slide in first. Will this be ok without screws tightened?
1 Answer Hello Kris. The screws go in at an angle. If not, they will never align properly. Make sure the front lip of the bottom in tucked under the liner also. Read More...
David Knox January 13, 2017 I got the left screw off pretty easy, but the right screw will not come out. It is loose and turns easily but acts like there is a nut underneath and will not come out from the base. The left screw did no t have a nut underneath.
1 Answer David, It may be a issue with the screw being stripped if it is just turning. You would want to try to get something under the head of the screw and try to get it out. Read More...
Chris November 09, 2016 for Model Number FEFL68GMA Ran the self cleaning feature on the Frigidaire oven which burned a small hole in the bottom floor panel. How do I remove the old one? I see two small rivets type holes in the back. They pop off easy enough, but I still cant figure out how to get the panel off? Any thoughts?
1 Answer Chris, At the back of the oven bottom there will be 2 screws. You will remove the screws, then get a small screwdriver in the hole and use it to lift the oven bottom. Read More...
