Ken November 23, 2013 for Model Number frigidaire FGEF3044KFC I am trying to replace the oven floor pan. Trying to remove the 2 screws in the back of the oven but having much difficulty removing the screws. I have loosened them however, I cannot pull them out of the pan. Any suggestions? I look forward to your response and help!
1 Answer Hello Ken, If the screws 5303285179 will not come out, you can use a pair of wire cutters under the heads of them to apply upward pressure while turning them counterclockwise. This will normally cause them to catch threads and back out. Do not do this to the screws if there is any chance of re-using the pan since this will cause the enamel to chip off of it. Read More...

Mike September 12, 2013 for Model Number fridgidaire electrolux I have been having a heck of a time removing the bottom panel of my oven to get to the heating element. I have removed the cover on the fan in the back to make room for the panel to come up. I have removed the two screws holding the panel in place. The back of the panel will lift up, but the front seems to be attached to something like a hinge. I can press down on the front of the panel and it will depress down into the bottom of the oven about 3/4ths of an inch. Please help me figure out what I am missing to remove this bottom oven panel!
