Seth December 20, 2016 for Model Number FFSS2614QS6A I got this fridge new this morning. The puresource3 filter that was in the unit will not lock into place. Ive tried turning off the ice maker, turning off the fridge, turning off the water and holding the filter in while pushing the water button to relieve pressure and it will not lock in. Ive checked and it has no caps on the filter. It will push all the way in and nothing happens.

1 Answer Hello Shanna, As per the owners' manual for units' using the WF3CB water filter, It is not necessary to turn the water supply off to change the filter. Be ready to wipe up any small amounts of water released during the filter replacement. Push firmly until the cartridge snaps into place (you should hear a click as the cartridge engages the snap-in connector). Press a drinking glass against the water dispenser while checking for any leaks at the filter housing. Any spurts and sputters that occur as the system purges air out of the dispenser system are normal. After filling one glass of water, continue flushing the system for about four (4) minutes.
