Bruce September 10, 2017 for Model Number 79094224403 The part #s I need are 316021501 and 316021500. The pictures don't match and when I check for compatibility it says it doesn't fit even though I have the part numbers from the original manual on the back of the range.
1 Answer Bruce, These would be the correct parts for your unit and may just not show as compatible because that model may not be listed under the part for our webpage. Read More...
Addie July 17, 2017 for Model Number CRE3860GWWA I have Crosley electric oven CRE3860GWWA. the front left element is not working and the LED stays on all the time. DO I need large surface element swtich? Also the oven light stays on too. What part do I need?
1 Answer Addie, Yes for the front left element not working this will be an issue of a faulty large infinite switch 316436001. For the oven light staying on you will need to check to see if the light switch is good. If the light switch checks ok then this would be a faulty control board. Read More...
Addie July 16, 2017 for Model Number CRE3860GWWA Hi there, I have a Crosley electric oven model CRE3860GWWA . The led located on left stays ON and the large element located on left is not working. I have replaced the receptacle kit for all 4. You think the switch will solve the problem ! thanks
1 Answer Addie, Yes, the large burner element switch 316436001 / 316436001 is the more likely issue. The internal contacts are most likely "stuck between L1 and P terminals causing the LED to remain illuminated. The L1 to H1 contact is probably warped or shorted and not completing the circuit to the element, so it won't heat. The part is in stock and available at this time. Thanks, Read More...
Chris May 19, 2017 for Model Number FEF368GCA The switch for the Dual burner right front element has different labels on it. How do I test to this switch for continuity? The labels on the back of the switch are, in clockwise order, P1, 2, P2, 4a, 4. Thanks for your help
1 Answer Chris, If you turn the knob on the dual element on there should be resistance between Terminals P1 to 2 and if you turn it to the dual setting there should be continuity from P2 to terminal 4 and P2 to terminal 4a. Read More...
Brian I April 30, 2017 for Model Number 79096122409 My kenmore stove burner switch 316021501 is not working properly. Looks like the part has been replaced by 316436001. The back where you connect the wires doesn't look exactly the same and I don't want to hook it up incorrectly. Can you please help me with this? there are 4 wires black[farthest down] and purple [right above] on left side, and red [farthest right on top but offset to the right] and orange is below but offset to the left of red]. On the new switch it looks like the terminals on the right side is different from my original switch. the higher and lower terminals on the right side is off set opposite from the old switch. Wish I could send you a picture to make it easier....... Maybe an easier question would be where does the black, purple, orange and red go on the new switch 316436001. Thanks
1 Answer Brian, This switch appears to be for the left front element and according to the tech sheet the Red will go to L2, Black to L1, Purple to P, there should be 2 orange wires that would go to H1 and H2. Read More...

Ryan December 18, 2016 for Model Number 7909641340D I have this part for my Kenmore Range, but I can't seem to find the wiring diagram anywhere. So I don't which wires to connect where and of course I didn't take a picture of the old one before I took it out. Do you guys know where I can find a diagram?
1 Answer Hello Ryan, A copy of the wiring diagram is on every appliance. There may be a plastic or paper envelope on the rear of the machine or sometimes there is a plastic bag on the drawer or beside the drawer in the bottom of the unit which contains the diagram. If no one has removed it, there will be a copy of the diagram somewhere on the unit. The only place I could locate is is for sale as part number 316441485. This is a kenmore model so the copy that would normally be available somewhere online, (if made by any other manufacturer), is only in their closed computer system. Read More...
