John March 04, 2013 for Model Number frigidaire cfmv156dc b I took out all door switches and found a faulty one. When I was doing so I found there are 3. Normally one and one closed but I don't know where that closed one came out of. I thought it was the bottom one but when I tried it, it worked when the door was open then I couldn't shut it off and no long and the fuse im assuming blew just wondering if you can help me with where it should go.
1 Answer John, The monitor switch would be the one that would be closed and is the center switch. The door switch which is upper would only be closed when the door is closed and the primary switch which is bottom would be closed when the door is closed. Read More...

Danny B M April 23, 2012 for Model Number gler341as2 i just change the bearing in my drier and now is not turning on, i think i conneted the switch wires wrong , i have checked everything else and all look okey......after putting the switch wire bad and putting them again,, no turning on,,,,, do i need a new switch???? or may it be something else.
1 Answer Danny, Are you sure you reset and locked both breaker properly at the breaker box ? at the door switch, the blue wire should attach to the "C" terminal of the switch, and go to the terminal block. The brown wire should attach to the "NC" terminal of the switch and go the the drum light. The gray wire should attach to the "NO" terminal of the switch and go to the start switch and timer. Of course you also want to check and make sure none of the wires got broken or damaged during the repair. If you have a multimeter, you could check the start switch for a "closed" circuit when you press the button, with the wires disconnected, to varify the start switch has not failed.
