Danny B M for Model Number gler341as2 i just change the bearing in my drier and now is not turning on, i think i conneted the switch wires wrong , i have checked everything else and all look okey......after putting the switch wire bad and putting them again,, no turning on,,,,, do i need a new switch???? or may it be something else.
Answer Danny, Are you sure you reset and locked both breaker properly at the breaker box ? at the door switch, the blue wire should attach to the "C" terminal of the switch, and go to the terminal block. The brown wire should attach to the "NC" terminal of the switch and go the the drum light. The gray wire should attach to the "NO" terminal of the switch and go to the start switch and timer. Of course you also want to check and make sure none of the wires got broken or damaged during the repair. If you have a multimeter, you could check the start switch for a "closed" circuit when you press the button, with the wires disconnected, to varify the start switch has not failed.
