For Frigidaire User Interface Control Board (Part Number: OEM21052194)

Greg for Model Number FGHS2631PF4A

Having problems dispensing ice cubes and crushed ice .. The water dispenser work fine though. The auger and solenoid don't turn on when ice buttons are selected to dispense ice. Tried the diagnostic mode test #10 and #11 and the auger and solenoid come on as described, but back in normal ice mode the flapper doesn't activated the auger or solenoid. Some of the LED display segments are dim or out completely on the UI interface. Whats the next step? Replace UI board? Thanks

Dave, the main control 5304507449 would be located just behind the kickplate and is accessed by pulling it forward. It can be tested for 12VDC using the wires at pin 5 and pin 6 of connector J4 when the refrigerator door is opened. If there is not voltage, the main control has failed. If there is voltage, there is a wire failure.

Make sure the display is set for the scale you want F or C. Then unplug the fridge for 20 minutes to clear the memory on the control. Plug it in and if no change the control would need to be replaced.

Civilsalmon for Model Number FG4H2272UF

I have a frigidair refrigerator from 2019. It's the frigidaire gallery. Some pop was spilled in the fridge and ate away at the wires for the lower freezer door ui. They then came our and shorted together. The user interface on the door died and has been since replaced. When that was replaced I also replaced the main control board as well. Now when the fridge is turned on the user interface doesn't want to boot and every light is on and won't turn off. The fridge still won't cool. Not trying to investigate on what to do next.

Civilsalmon, Based on the information provided and if the wiring that was damaged is in the cabinet then it will not be repairable. If the wiring was in the door then the door would likely need to be replaced along with any of the components damaged by the shorted wiring.

Tasha, based on the information provided, it sounds like there is a shorted part. A shorted fan motor, interface 5304528575, or wire could potentially cause this issue. If each fan is accessed and unplugged one at a time, this could identify if it has failed as the unit will operate properly once a shorted part is unplugged.
