This back panel assembly replaces a damaged or missing rear cabinet panel to protect internal components and keep the unit's cabinet aligned and secure. Restores a clean fit and helps reduce rattles from a loose or bent back. What it does:

Encloses and protects internal wiring and components at the rear of the unit
Provides mounting points for rear hardware and brackets
Helps maintain cabinet alignment and structural rigidity
Can reduce noise from vibration when the rear panel is properly secured

Disconnect power before servicing; if applicable, shut off gas supply
Pull the unit forward to access the rear; wear cut-resistant gloves—edges can be sharp
Retain and transfer any clips, ground straps, or grommets from the old panel

All of the switches work on this dryer, but the plastic tabs on the back splash that the Start Switch attached to broke. I'm assuming that the switch twists on? Can you direct me to the correct part? I see 3 #13's. Thank you!

Kathie, You're correct, the various switches "twist and lock" into position on the back panel. You may want or need a small flat blade screwdriver or similar tool to lift the locking tab up, to remove the switches from the back panel. The correct back panel for the model number you supplied is WE19M1497 / WE19M1497 Back. Panel Asm. The part is in stock and available at this time. Thanks,
