Bruce January 23, 2013 for Model Number WHRE5260E1WW All of the LEDs on the front panel blink in unison. That's all that it will do. I have unplugged to reset it numerous times. It will not go into "Service Mode", so I am thinking that the WH12X10323 control board is bad. Is this a good assumption before I spend $130 to attempt a fix. Thanks!
1 Answer Hello Bruce, It does sound as though the control board is at fault for your issue. Read More...
Steve April 20, 2012 for Model Number WHRE526OE1WWW Washer has "perfect temp" that usually adjusts water temp to some specified range by turning off hot and cold appropriately and cycling as needed. It is normally when set on warm. It would fill for several seconds with hot and cold both, then cycle for several seconds (maybe 5 secs) with just cold, then back to both. Now, when set on warm, the hot water cycles on and off rapidly and randomly, between every half second to normal time of cycles. Set on hot, fills normally with all hot, no cycling. Set on cold, fills with cold for 10 sec or so, then cycles to hot + cold (warm) for 5 sec or so, then back to cold only. Our cold tap water right now is not very cold, maybe 60 degrees, so odd it is turning hot on with that too when set on cold. Is this a control asm problem?
1 Answer Hi Steve. Get a bucket. Turn the water supply valves off. Remove each water hose from the water valve. Look at the water valve inlet screen and see if the screens are plugged. Water valve part # WH13X10024. Flush out the hose's and make sure they are not clogged. The valve needs strong water pressure to keep the valve open and then closed. If this is all OK, then replace the control assy. part # WH12X10323. Thank You. Read More...

Thomas August 16, 2011 for Model Number whre5260e1ww Washer stops washing. I have to restart time after time. Have tried field service mode but can't really understand it can you explain it to me?
1 Answer Hi Thomas. The purpose of the "field service test" is for qualified technicians to use the electronic capabilities to pin point the area of failure. Like a fault code given by the unit to assist what part area may have failed. We will send a service manual that will assist you. This will give you access to check the wires to a part , or the part that may be broken. Thank you. Read More...

Greg July 12, 2011 for Model Number WHSE5240D1WW I know its not the house water pressure or debris in the line, first thing I checked. Wouldn't it have to be something electrical since I Unplug the washer for a few seconds and then back in, and the water pressure is normal for a few seconds? The control ASM is what sends the "message" to the washer water inlet valve (AP3861119) to open or close, correct? Thanks again!
1 Answer Hello Greg. Test and see if the power going to the valve WH13X10024 is droping while the unit is filling. If so, you will need to replace the control assembly WH12X10323. If the power is steady, you will need to replace the water valve. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. Hope this helps.http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html Read More...
Greg July 11, 2011 for Model Number WHSE5240D1WW I believe this is the part I need to replace, but it could be the pressure switch. When we turn on the washer or when it does the rinse, the water just dribbles out (I have had to use a hose to fill it up!), but if I unplug the washer for a couple seconds and then plug it back in, the water flows normal for a few seconds then gets lower and lower? Once it is full it runs fine, but the amount of water that comes out has gradually gotten less and less until recently no water comes out.
1 Answer Greg, the issue would not be due to the control assembly, it could be due to weak water pressure, debris in the water supply lines or a fill valve problemWH13X10024, Thanks and good Luck. Read More...
