Steve, First, remove power to the washer, then remove the screws from the top of the control panel, and "roll the panel down from the top. Check to see if the control board mounting screws are loose or may have fallen out. Then check to see if the control board mounting tabs are broken. You may still need the WH12X10323 / WH12X10323 Control Board Assembly depending on what you find. Thanks,

washer would run, but not pump out and not go to spin. checked the basic lid switch, control knob, and plug/unplug reset process all to no avail. checked power into pump, only about 56V. Fed AC 110V direct to pump, pump seems to work fine, pumped out. Seems like not getting signal/voltage from controller.? what else can i check to confirm, is there anywhere to check for specific codes or does this sound like typical controller fault. I just want to order the correct parts as controller is pricey thanks, Bob

Hello Bob. Make sure your wiring is good and double check the lid switch. If all is good, then you will need to replace the control board on the unit.

Hello Gary, In changing the temperature settings, you are changing the control procedure the electronic control uses in water temperature and this can vary from cycling from the hot to the cold water valve fill to filling with only hot. One thing about electronic controls, you cannot second guess them. If you suspect a problem, you have to determine the cycle and water temperature you have chosen and use the time chart on the tech sheet and the wiring diagram to determine if voltage is being sent to the proper components at the proper time. If the cycle is interrupted during checking the test will have to be started over since this will change the operational characteristics of the control circuit WH12X10323. You can just change this control but considering the operational characteristics, it may not change the units' operation. If you do test the circuitry by the time chart, you should begin by unplugging the washer from the wall outlet for a minimum of 2 minutes to clear out any previous commands that could still be stored in the microprocessor. This is like re-booting in the sense that you are starting with a "clean slate" in the control.

Susan for Model Number S5200E1WW

The cycle knob and the light display for the wash time do not always correspond. Once started it may stop during the filling cycle, or at some other point during the wash cycle. Sometimes, it may stop before completely spinning the clothes, but when the knob is turned to 'spin only' the lights will display a wash cycle, not spin only. We think we will need to replace the main control board, but since it is a more expensive part, we wanted a second opinion. Thank you.
