Matt April 17, 2018 for Model Number JTP48SOF1SS Hello! My ge double oven has f7 error code. Touch pad is non responsive. I’m assuming it’s the control board. Will the control board WB27T10445 fit? And will the wiring be the same? I’m a diy’er and would be installing this myself.
1 Answer Matt, This issue will be a faulty control board which will be part number WB27T10445. Read More...
Kristy May 25, 2017 for Model Number JTP50S0H6SS I have a GE Oven (model # JTP50S0H6SS). when I turn it on, I can't adjust the the temperature and then after a minute or so it goes blank and then FO flashes. Appliance guy came and said the board is out and it's $900 to replace it.
1 Answer Kristy, This issue would most likely be the touchpad with the F0 error code. The part that you would need is is the control panel assembly which is part number WB36T10750. Read More...
Paul November 11, 2012 for Model Number jtp48sf3ss My upper oven will start up and then turn off. I measured the resistance of the temperature sensor and it was around 1078O. Eventually the oven will give an F2 code. any ideas?
1 Answer Hello Paul, The F-2 fault code is an indication that the control has detected a temperature inside the unit of over 630°F. One thing I always emphasize is to tap on the temperature sensor WB23T10015 while testing it. You see, it is a man made electrical device that can fail and its' failure isn't always definitive. It can begin to fail before its' actual complete failure. This can cause it to give a false reading. Of course, if it still doesn't show to be bad, the clock assembly WB27T10445 is the next component to suspect. Read More...
