Joe November 04, 2015 for Model Number JGBP28SEL4SS Need orifice product numbers. Switching from lp to nat
1 Answer Joe, For the conversion to Natural gas you would need to loosen the orifices on the bake and broil about 1 1/2 to 2 turns and close the air shutter on the burner to about 1/4 way open. Flip the regulator cap from LP to Natural. For the top burners you need to get the burner tubes which will have the orifices on them. Marty September 18, 2015 for Model Number JGBP28SEH2SS My range was converted to LP. I now have NG available soon and I'm trying to make sure I have the right parts before my conversion guy arrives. I have what looks like the original NG brass orfices. There are 4 of them, which I assume are for the 4 top burners. My question is do I need more NG orfices for the oven or broiler? Or is there only 4 orfices needed to convert back to NG from LP? -Thanks.
1 Answer Marty, The unit will not need any orifices replaced in the oven but you will need to turn the orifice on the safety valve 1 1/2 to 2 turns looser. Then close the air shutter to about 1/4 way open. Then replace the main top orifices and flip the regulator cap. Read More...
