Purduefan1982 January 10, 2017 I replaced the front bearing, front glides, felt and belt on my GE dryer. I followed the instructions from your videos and it went together fine. However I am noticing a noise now since it's running. I think it is the felt ring or the glides settling. Is that normal or did I possibly put the ring incorrect? Thank you
1 Answer Hello Purduefan1982, The sound is more likely from the bearing assembly WE25M40 in the rear of the dryer drum. I would replace it to ensure longevity of the repair. Read More...
Thomas November 13, 2016 for Model Number DPSB613ED0WW I was looking up parts for my GE PROFILE electric dryer model number DPSB613ED0WW... I came across the dryer front drum support bearing (AP3790641) that came up under my model number but when I entered my model number below it just to double check if it will work or not, it said it wasn't compatible? Could you give me the right part number so I can complete my order? Also, is there a kit that comes with the slides as well or do I have to order all four separate?
1 Answer Thomas, The part number for your dryer drum front support is WE3M26 and you would need to get the bearing slides 2 of part WE03X37318 and 2 of WE03X37317. Read More...
Charlie October 10, 2016 for Model Number DQSR483EE1WW I found the dry drum front support bearing (AP3790641) by searching on my model number. However, when I type my model number into the "Appliance Compatibility Tool" it says it is not a match. Can you validate that this is the right part for my appliance? Also, I have noticed on many of the question this this thread that you recommend different type of gliders for different units. Can you tell me which (and how many of each) gliders I will need for my model?
1 Answer Charlie, This dryer drum support bearing WE3M26 is the correct part for your unit. This kit will include both bearing slides that the unit will need. You could also get the maintenance kit which would have all the slide the top bearing the belt and felt and is part number WE49X20697. Read More...

Andrea March 07, 2016 for Model Number DX2300EEOWW I need to replace the front bearing on my GE Dryer. The right side was in the wrong place and I moved it forward and my dryer quit squeaking but I want to replace it before it gets worse. It was only loose on one side. Does this mean I should only need to replace one slide or should I replace both? I watched a video showing to glue them back on? If so, what type of glue should I use? What else should I have on hand when doing this job? Do you sell the kit or do I have to buy the parts separately? Thanks in advance for your time and effort, Andrea
1 Answer Andrea, There is no type of glue that would be used to put the bearing in place and you will want to replace both sides due to uneven wear. There are 2 different bearing slides which one is white and is part number WE03X37318 and will need 2 of these. They are the lower bearing. The upper bearing is part number WE03X37317 and would be 2 of these also. Read More...
