1 Answer Hello Ron. The dryer being used wears them out. It is always best to replace both the front and rear bearings at the same time. Read More...

Vanessa December 30, 2014 for Model Number DLLLR23EG1WW Our dryer is squealing very loud and we are pretty sure we need the dryer drum front support bearing. Will this be all we need or is there other parts needed to?
1 Answer Hello Vanessa, I would strongly recommend to replace the rear drum bearing WE25M40 since it is responsible for most noise complaints on this design. It is also advisable to replace the front support bearing and slides to prevent the tub from slanting far enough to contact the heating element. Read More...

1 Answer Hello Danny. No, that is the front air duct assembly WE14X25080. WE3M26 is the top bearing. Read More...

Mptzh September 30, 2014 for Model Number UPSR405EA0WW Dryer is making a squeaking sound and some clothes are getting caught in the front drum on top. I can lift the drum and suspect the front drum bearing support and glides are worn? When I run the model number it comes up as cannot find but it gives me a similar number with a different first couple of letters. Can you tell me what I will need or if you think there is something else wrong?
1 Answer Hello Mptzh, If your model number is DPSR405EA0WW, to correct the drum catching clothes you will need to replace the drum bearing WE3M26, two white slides WE03X37318 which go to the two center positions, and two colored slides WE03X37317 which install to the outside positions. The door seal WE09X27634 should be close in tolerance. All of these parts are available in a kit WE49X20697 cheaper than buying them individually. The rear bearing WE25M40 should be replaced since it will be responsible for the squeaking. make sure the idler pulley WE12X83 spins freely. Read More...
