Robert March 18, 2013 for Model Number DBXR463ED2WW Top of cabinet was getting to hot and now dryer has stop heating.
1 Answer Robert, You will want to test the thermal fuse for failure. If the thermal fuse fails then the unit will not heat. If it has failed then you will want to check the venting from the blower wheel all the way to the outside of your home for clogging. A clogged vent is one of the most common reasons for failure of the thermal fuse WE4M137. Read More...

Bob February 24, 2013 for Model Number DPSR610EGOWT The drum wore through the dryer drum front support bearing. How do I replace this and how many bearing slides do I need? All are missing.
1 Answer Hello Bob, You will need two WE03X37317 and two WE03X37318. The two green ones go to the top and the two white ones go to the outside. The bearing is most likely in need of replacement since all of the glides are missing. This part number is WE3M26 and will be required since it is responsible for holding the glides in position. The front drum support bearing simply snaps into the frame of the front panel. The only thing that makes it difficult is if the unit has a light in the drum. In this case, be sure to remove the light bulb before beginning because you WILL break the bulb trying to remove the bearing assembly. Read More...

Maldeze November 28, 2012 for Model Number Dcvh515gf0ww Hello. We had a repairman come out since the top drum part was broken. He said we needed we9m30 and we1m504 and we1m507. Then he showed up with the parts and told us he couldn't install them since we also needed We14m119 -- and I have a feeling he's scamming us. I told him just to install the three parts he originally identified and he said he can't. How hard is this repair for a do it yourself? I would like to buy the three parts and see if that fixes the problem and if not then ill buy the extra part. What do you think?
1 Answer Hello Maldeze. The part you need to order with the other 3 parts is part number WE14M124. This is the part the glides slide into and usually needs to be replaced with the glides. This is not a hard repair to do, but does take a little time. Read More...
