Dustin M May 01, 2016 for Model Number GSHL6KGZBCLS My ice maker wouldn't eject the frozen cubes. I took it out, let it thaw/dry and reinstalled it. Now it will not fill, the ejection arms don't move, and it will do nothing in "service" mode. Water at the door still comes out fine. Is my ice maker bad? Any easy way to check? I am familiar with test meters, etc. Ice maker # WR30X10093 Thanks
1 Answer Hello Dustin. Based on the testing you did, the icemaker is bad and will need to be replaced in the unit. Read More...
Judy April 30, 2016 for Model Number ZIC360N My refrigerator is about 8 years old and I don't always have ice. The little white arm that comes out to determine if the bucket is full doesn't always come out, it gets stuck and I manually have to pull it out for it t make ice. Is there a simple solution or do I need to purchase a replacement ice maker?

Tony February 12, 2016 for Model Number GSS25WGPABB leaking water from tubing at back of refridgerator
1 Answer Tony, The tube that runs up the back of the refrigerator goes to the icemaker and is part number WR17X11625. This connects to the fill tube that leads to the icemaker which the fill tube is part number WR17X11168 which comes with the tube. If this is leaking then make sure that the fill tube is not frozen. If it is then the water valve is seeping and would need to be replaced. Read More...
Larry W. February 11, 2016 for Model Number pss25sgna The ice maker has bad taste in the ice. I need to know why. We have changed the filter. Thanks
1 Answer Hello Larry, I would try turning the water off and cycle the icemaker one time to empty. Pour in enough water to properly fill the icemaker and see if the cubes still have the flavor. If so, replace the icemaker. If not, the water valve and line can be replaced but you should check if the water from the wall has the flavor. If so, you may need to add an in-line filter RT10400C & TJ9SSIM1. Read More...
Jason February 05, 2016 My icemaker has flooded my house twice it just keeps pumping water when it cycles what do I need to replace the ice maker or the pump.
1 Answer Jason, In most cases the cause for the icemaker continuing to get water to it would be a faulty water valve that is not shutting off. Read More...
