Tony, The tube that runs up the back of the refrigerator goes to the icemaker and is part number WR17X11625. This connects to the fill tube that leads to the icemaker which the fill tube is part number WR17X11168 which comes with the tube. If this is leaking then make sure that the fill tube is not frozen. If it is then the water valve is seeping and would need to be replaced.

Hello Larry, I would try turning the water off and cycle the icemaker one time to empty. Pour in enough water to properly fill the icemaker and see if the cubes still have the flavor. If so, replace the icemaker. If not, the water valve and line can be replaced but you should check if the water from the wall has the flavor. If so, you may need to add an in-line filter RT10400C & TJ9SSIM1.

Jason, In most cases the cause for the icemaker continuing to get water to it would be a faulty water valve that is not shutting off.
