Chris August 28, 2015 for Model Number Tbx25pa The ice maker keeps go making ice, even with the stop arm up. Is there a way to stop production? Or fix the problem?
1 Answer Hello Chris. The only way to resolve this issue is to order and replace the icemaker assembly in the unit. We will need your full model number to determine which icemaker you need to replace. Thanks. http://www.appliancepartspros.com/modelnumber_locator.aspx Read More...
Donald W August 22, 2015 for Model Number GE WR30X10093 Ice is being made and water flowing but drive mechanism doesn't turn.
1 Answer Donald, If the ejector fingers are not ejecting the ice from the icemaker then the issue will be caused by a faulty icemaker. Read More...
Dee August 21, 2015 for Model Number TFX22CRDAWW Water drips from dispenser when ice maker is turned on, does not drip if maker arm is up
1 Answer Dee, Based on the information it sounds as though your icemaker is either leaking or the water valve is not shutting off all the way and allowing water to still flow into the unit. It would be more likely the icemaker is the issue and you will want to pull the icemaker out and see if the mold is deteriorating. If deteriorating then you will want to replace the icemaker WR30X10093. Read More...
Paul M August 18, 2015 for Model Number TFX24RLB The ice maker has quit working in my TFX24RLB refrigerator. The replacement pictured in your video looks different than mine. Are you sure the replacement will work?
Paul Matthews August 17, 2015 for Model Number TFX24RLB The ice maker in my refrigerator flooded the freezer side with water and then quit working completely. I understand this is a normal. My question, the ice maker shown in your video looks like it is mounted across the rear side of the freezer compartment as viewed from the front. My ice maker is mounted on the L.H. side of the compartment as viewed from the front and is held in place by 2 Phillips head screws. Will your replacement unit work in my refrigerator?
1 Answer Paul, This icemaker WR30X10093 is used as the primary replacement part for all GE side by side refrigerators. It will mount to the side wall and will work for your unit. Read More...
Josh August 09, 2015 for Model Number GSH25JFXBBB I have a GE GSH25JFXBBB side-by-side fridge/freezer that is not producing ice properly. The unit was placed in storage for a few months during a move, and after we pulled it back out, cleaned it up, and hooked it back up, the ice maker has been disastrous! The first time I attempted to use it, the ice maker clearly turned on, and the water supply filled the tray... but never shut back off. Thankfully I happened to open the freezer after several minutes, and was greeted by gallons of water in the bottom. Of course, I then had to pull everything out, open up the freezer, and thaw out the coils. At this point, I had thought perhaps the solenoid had opened, and then stuck in the open position after sitting out of use for so long, so I replaced the solenoid unit for the water supply on the unit. After hooking everything back up... same thing. The water for the ice tray will turn on, but does not turn off on its own. (This time of course I had the good sense to stick a towel under the unit, and try it with the door open). Upon inspection of the existing ice tray, I did find that one of the plastic "fins" on the unit had been bent beneath the auger... but even after removing said "fin" and rotating the ice unit back to starting position, it still does the same thing (so I'm not sure if this is related or not)?! My question is... what part do I need to replace to fix this? Does the ice maker unit itself contain the control for the inlet solenoid? Or is this something controlled by the main control board for the fridge? Any help and insight would be appreciated. Thanks!
Bill August 02, 2015 for Model Number TFS26PPDABS My water dispenser and ice maker both aren't working although they stopped at different times. I replaced the complete solenoid set and now only the ice maker does not work . the line doesn't appear frozen , in fact there doesn't seem to be any water up top at all. what do u think?
1 Answer Bill, With the water valve having been replaced but the icemaker still not working, this would be caused most likely by a faulty icemaker. Read More...
Ed July 30, 2015 for Model Number CFSP5RKBCSS Ice Maker GE electronic, cafe model. Water fill time only 4.5 seconds. Short fill. Water pressure good. Completed a water time test through dispenser, all good. Would an inlet valve solve issue or would I need to replace electronic ice maker? Thanks for your help.

Brenda July 24, 2015 for Model Number GSH22JFXLBB how do I know if I need to replace the solenoid or a ice dispenser kit if my GE fridge freezer is not making ice? this happened to me before and I used a repairman. He first changed solenoid and when it didn't work, he came back and replaced icemaker unit and it was fine. Any ideas on how to know which you really need? This previously occurred on another fridge. Thanks!
1 Answer Brenda, If the unit is not making ice then it would most likely be the icemaker that is causing the issue. You will want to check to make sure that there is no ice clogged in the fill tube. If there is then replace the water valve if not then icemaker is most likely. Read More...
Ge July 16, 2015 for Model Number WR30X10093 CAN25. I have a GE ice maker Model: WR30X10093 CAN25. It gets too much water in the ice tray and therefore the little arm thingies get stuck because the cubes are just too big. Is there a way to fix the water level for this particular ice maker? If not, what do you suggest?
1 Answer Hello. There is a adjustment screw behind the small cover on the side of the icemaker head. Read More...
