1 Answer Hello Rose. Make sure the freezer is between 0° and 5°. You need to check and see if there is power going to the water valve when the icemaker cycles. If so, replace the water valve on the unit. If not, or the icemaker does not cycle, you will need to replace the icemaker on the unit. Also, check and make sure the fill tube on the unit is not frozen and clogged. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. 1 Answer R, Several things for you to check, When you select cubed ice and press the dispenser paddle the cube solenoid WR62X23154 activates and lifts the shifter arm(on the side of the ice bin) which opens the dispenser door in the front bottom of the ice bin, and the cubes fall through the dispenser without being chopped or crushed. You'll need to check the shifter arm and door on the ice bin. While you have the bin out of the freezer, you can make the cube selection, hold or tape the freezer door switch closed, when you press the paddle, you should hear and see the solenoid activate and lift the plunger. 1 Answer Hello Cheryl, If water pressure supplied to the unit is sufficient, you will need to replace the water inlet valve on the back of the unit and use a hair dryer to clear the ice in the fill tube. 1 Answer Hello Bob. You will need to check the dispenser switch in the unit. If the switch is good, you will need to test for power to the auger motor. If there is power there and it does not run, you will need to replace the auger motor. For slow ice production, it is usually caused by bad temperature in the freezer. Needs to be 0 to 5°.
