The icemaker that you have, the paddle does come out but not really far. When the icemaker cycles it slides back underneath the icemaker then pushes back out. If you are having an issue where it is making too much ice then you would want to get paddle part number WR49X10103 which will correct this issue.

Richard, Unfortunately we do not ship overseas and the only way that you could get the part from use would be if you have someone in the United states that you can have sent to and then them send it to you.

Hello Steve. Make sure the freezer is between 0° and 5°. You need to check and see if there is power going to the water valve when the icemaker cycles. If so, replace the water valve on the unit. If not, or the icemaker does not cycle, you will need to replace the icemaker on the unit. Also, check and make sure the fill tube on the unit is not frozen and clogged. If so, replace the water valve and thaw out the fill tube. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html

Hello Leon, It is only necessary if the failure you are correcting caused damage to the old harvest rake. If it is un-damaged, this part does not have to be installed.

Linda for Model Number TFX26PPDAWW

My GE Profile side by side ice maker continues to make ice, even when the bin is totally overflowing. The small metal arm, which is supposed to turn off the icemaker when ice level gets high, no longer clicks up or responds to the ice level. Thus, the ice bin just keeps filling. I have to manually lift the metal bar which stops ice production, then remember to lower it again when ice level gets low.. Any idea of a fix for this? Is there a part I need, or does the entire thing have to be replaced? Thanks.

Linda, The most likely cause for the icemaker not shutting off would be a bad switch in the icemaker. The part number needed would be WR29X5171. If you decide to try to replace this switch, you will want to pay very close attention to how the icemaker comes apart because there will be several gears that come out as well in order to replace the switch. If you decide not to replace the switch then you would need to get the icemaker kit WR30X10093.
