Jeff D March 23, 2014 I am replacing the current ice maker WR30X0327 in my older GE frig. I am replacing it with a WR30X10093. my older ice maker has the 4 pin plug and the newer has a 6 pin plug. I have seen an adaptor cable that converts from the (newer) 6 pin to the (older) 4 pin plug that is in the freezer. I see the adaptor in ice maker kits but I cant seem to find just the adaptor. Any suggestions on where I can find that adaptor? Thanks!

Steve S March 18, 2014 for Model Number GE WR30X10093 My icemaker (model GE WR30X10093) works fine and makes cubes, but when dispensing ice, it only dispenses crushed ice regardless of the setting on the door (cubed vs. crushed). What can I do?
1 Answer Hello Steve, without knowing the model # we can't say for sure, but here's a couple of things to look for. 1) Make sure the lever on your ice bucket is actually going into the cradle where the solenoid resides that lifts the arm up and down. If the arm isn't being lifted it won't give the ice he ability to bypass the crusher blades. 2) If the solenoid that lifts the cradle has failed maybe it isn't lifting the arm. When the arm lifts it opens a flapper, with the flapper open the cubes go around he blades that are always turning whenever the auger motor is running. Philip February 28, 2014 for Model Number pds22mcrbww My ice maker is not working. The only part that is compatable with my refridgerator is "IM6", but, it says it is for new installation only.
