Mandi February 22, 2014 for Model Number TFX25CRYFBB When I tried to get water from the freezer door of my side by side, nothing happened and water was on the floor. Looking at the inlet valve I found the line broken off inside the valve. So I replaced the dual inlet valve. Now the water in the door works great, but the water for the icemaker just runs down the back of the freezer. No water into the ice mold. What happened? The icemaker worked fine before I replaced the valve.
1 Answer Mandi, The issue that you are having would be most likely caused by the fill tube freezing. You will want to pull the icemaker and check this. Also check to make sure that the tube that runs from the water valve is fully seated in the fill tube. Read More...

Scott February 18, 2014 for Model Number WR30X10044 I have GE side-by-side with this ice maker: WR30X10044. I guess the replacement part is now WR30X10093. Anyway, the flap on the bottom of the ice maker (that is spring loaded) doesn't seem to "go back" after a cycle. After ice is dumped the flap will be towards the back of the freezer. I found that if I pull the flap back, towards the front of the freezer, it will continue to make ice. Have you come across this problem before? I don't want to buy a new ice maker if there's a way to fix this spring-loaded flap.
1 Answer Hello Scott. The only way to repair this issue is to replace the icemaker on the unit. They do not offer parts for the icemakers to repair them. Read More...

Elmore G. February 15, 2014 for Model Number TFH24PRSA BB The ice maker you show is mounted in the back, mine is mounted on the side. Will it work with the replacement ice maker you list?
Jeb February 02, 2014 for Model Number tbx18gidbrww My ice maker quit working. It wasn't getting water. I have already changed the water inlet valve, but that didn't seem to fix the problem. If I manually pour water into the ice tray, it will work. Any suggestions?
1 Answer Hello Jeb. Check and see if the fill tube is frozen and needs to be thawed out on the unit. Read More...
Gayle January 23, 2014 for Model Number GE icemaker WR30x10093 Maker is producing ice very slowly. Can't even fill half the bin in 24 hours. The temperature in the freezer is fine, water is getting in the mold, air circulation around the unit is good. What else can we do?
1 Answer Hello Gayle, The temperature in the freezer needs to be checked. It needs to be between 0°F and 15°F for optimum production. Also, if the water to the unit is connected to the hot water connection, this can hamper the units' production ability. The water connection has to be from the homes' cold water system. If this is good, you will need to replace the icemaker assembly or the icemaker thermostat. Read More...
1 Answer Hello Dennis. No, there is no adjustment for that. Make sure the freezer is 0 to 5° for the proper ice production. Read More...
