Ive been trying to cross reference the ice maker with refrigerators but im not having any luck in finding the model number.. The video shows a wire feeler arm, but my replacement kit has a plastic flipper-shaped arm like the one in your parts diagram. How does that arm shut off the ice maker when the bin is full? The instructions say to replace that arm with my old feeler, but there is no hole to insert the wire like you show in the video.

John December 09, 2013 for Model Number GSH25JSTASS Water freezes in icemaker fill cup. Thinking slow water entry, I replaced the water valve. Cup still freezes. When icemaker calls for water, it comes to cup, spills over, and runs into freezer. Freezer is at 0 degrees F. New valve, icemaker is calling for water. Could lines be clogged?

1 Answer Hello Ted. Make sure the freezer is between 0° and 5°. You need to check and see if there is power going to the water valve when the icemaker cycles. If so, replace the water valve on the unit. If not, or the icemaker does not cycle, you will need to replace the icemaker on the unit. Also, check and make sure the fill tube on the unit is not frozen and clogged. If so, replace the water valve and thaw out the fill tube. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Dianna November 18, 2013 for Model Number 363.9565484 We replaced the ice maker with wx30x10093 it worked until out water tank had to be replaced. when we turned water back on ice maker wasn't making ice. We replaced the solenoid and we can't get water to come in to the icemaker. All lines are cleard. We checked to make sure but it just won't let water come in. What could be wrong?

1 Answer Dwight, It is a normal circumstance for the unit to warm up during defrost cycle which can cause the ice to get watery and stick together.
