Jeffp June 01, 2013 for Model Number GE GSS25QGTG BB Hi. Our GE GSS25QGTG is not dispensing ice. The auger was broken, and I replaced the entire auger and bucket assembly. Still no ice is ejected through door. If I remove the bucket and press the lever on the door, the metal "fork" that powers the auger turns. However, if I put any resistance on the "fork" it appears to be stripped and i can hold it in place even though the motor and shaft are turning. Should I replace the entire assembly WR30X10093? Thanks
1 Answer Jeff, If the fork on the auger motor is stripped then you would want to replace the auger motor WR60X10258 and the coupling WR02X11941. Read More...
Jason May 29, 2013 for Model Number CSX22GR Ice maker is not making ice - where should I start with this unit? Arm is down in the on position, but nothing happening after many days. Dispenser on door appears to function when ice is called. Best bet to replace the ice maker unit, or something behind the panels where the ice maker connects?
1 Answer Hello Jason. You need to check and see if there is power going to the water valve when the icemaker cycles. If so, replace the water valve on the unit. If not, or the icemaker does not cycle, you will need to replace the icemaker on the unit. Also, check and make sure the fill tube on the unit is not frozen and clogged. If so, replace the water valve and thaw out the fill tube. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html Read More...
Carty May 19, 2013 for Model Number HSS25GFTAWW I have an ice maker #WR30X10061 on my Hot Point Frig. I had it workin 1 year ago and recently hooked it up (moved) & it use to work fine. It seems like the heater tube is not working to release cubes in the mold therefore the rake arm gets stuck and the green light blinks indicating a malfunction. I have worked with some ice makers before IM6s and that's usually what I have experienced. Do you know if there is any other research I should do or just replace it?
1 Answer Carty, If the icemaker is flashing the green light then it is defective and will need to be replaced. Read More...
Young May 12, 2013 for Model Number GTS22WCPBRCC Ice maker had never connected to the waterline. I want to connect ice maker to water line, but don't know what I need. Please advice me so that I can order necessary parts.
1 Answer Young, If you have an existing icemaker in the unit then you would want to connect a 1/4" hose between the water valve which is on the back of the unit behind the lower panel. and the main home water supply which could be behind he unit or under the sink. Read More...
Sharon May 12, 2013 for Model Number TFH24PRSM We have a TFH24PRSM Side X Side Profile. In looking at your parts list for the icemaker the Part # AP2068417 Gear is listed but I failed to find the smaller gear which needs to be replaced because some of the teeth have sheared off and it causes our icemaker stop making ice. Would appreciate if you could help me with the part # or any other advice. Thanks.
1 Answer Sharon, It sounds like the part that you are needing is the motor gear WR29X5153. Read More...
Steven May 07, 2013 for Model Number tps24pbdabd side by side The ice maker is not working. I have already changed the water fill valve(both of them) because it was also not delivering chilled water at the door. Is there a test procedure for checking the ice maker. the self test reset on the door did not reveal any codes.I believe the new icemaker part number is WR30X0328(sub part # 30X10093) Should I look for anything else to be the problem before ordering the icemaker Thansk
1 Answer Steven, Check for a fill tube that enters the back of the freezer and goes to the icemaker to make sure that it is not clogged up. If it is clear the ice out of the fill tube. If the fill tube checks ok then the icemaker would most likely need to be replaced. Read More...

Charlie May 01, 2013 for Model Number AP4345120 ice maker I just recieved and installed the new Ice Maker AP4345120 ice maker from you. It doesn't seem to make ice as often as the old ice maker did. The ice cubes are also are smaller. If this is normal, OK. If not what to do??
1 Answer Charlie, You will want to make sure that the water filter is good. It sounds like you are getting lower water pressure with the ice being smaller and the icemaker taking longer. Check for water fill. Read More...
