Hello Jerry. Remove the waterline from the valve and see if the valve is dripping. If so, you will need to order and replace the water valve on the unit.

Hello Rick, If the ice maker has stopped with ice in it, the issue will be the ice maker assembly WR30X10093. If the ice maker has no water in it, the issue is most likely a frozen fill tube due to either a bad water valve WR57X10070 or low water pressure to the unit from the home plumbing.

Cindie, The icemaker has either a switch on the side of it that is the on/off switch or it will have a slide switch which is located by where the shutoff arm is. The shutoff arm is a slide arm that goes under the icemaker.

I have an intermittent problem with the ice maker. It will make ice for a 3 or 4 days then stops. When it stops making ice the green led next to the power switch is blinking. Normally the led is on steady. I turn off the ice maker with it's power switch and leave it off for a couple of minutes. When I turn it back on the led is on steady and the ice make will make ice for 3 or 4 days. Is there anything I can do to fix the ice maker or does it need to be replaced?

Hello Boyd. The flashing green light is an error code and tells that the icemaker is bad and will need to be replaced on the unit.

John, You need to check and see if there is power going to the water valve when the icemaker cycles. If so, replace the water valve on the unit. If not, or the icemaker does not cycle, you will need to replace the icemaker on the unit. Also, check and make sure the fill tube on the unit is not frozen and clogged. If so, replace the water valve and thaw out the fill tube. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html

Mike, With the icemaker continuously cycling then the most likely cause is a stuck closed thermostat and the icemaker 5303918344 would need to be replaced.
