Tony August 09, 2017 for Model Number GSH22JSXASS My ice maker overflows ice auto stop guide not working, it is stuck on crushed wont go to cubed. It seems the part inside that clicks up and down for cubed and crushed freezes. I heated it up and it was clicking up and down for cubed to crushed but now is frozen on crushed again . The back cover part 361 on diagram map is all cracked dont know if that has anything to do with it thanks

And if this is the likely case, can the tray heater be replaced rather than replacing the whole ice maker? It has the compact style ice maker mounted on the left side of the freezer compartment. I would prefer to replace rather than repair. I see your new electronic ice maker is shown to be compatible.
