Matt for Model Number JB650ST1SS In response to my other question. Model number JB650ST1SS. Burner was stuck on. Replaced the infinite switch as the other one was completely fried. The burner is still stuck on!
Answer Hello Matt. Make sure the switch you replaced is for the one that is staying on. If so, then you need to check the wiring on the unit. It sounds like something is grounded out and is allowing the power to bypass the switch to turn on the element. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3.
