Robert July 15, 2015 for Model Number GE PSC23SGRBSS The button to select cubed ice on the interface board is broken. The other buttons work fine, but the small arm behind the panel has snapped off (the black covering is cracked so I could see behind it. Is my only option to replace the whole Interface Disp Board.

Michael January 14, 2015 for Model Number GE ps123sgpa bs The board on the front of the water dispensing unit is Locked out. I cannot reset it. Is the the control board wrx55x10942 or is it the main board? Other wise the refrigerator runs fine keeps every cool and frozen. I don't know if this has effected the ice maker but we cannot dispense water, or change any of the other functions.

David January 09, 2015 for Model Number PSC23SGRBSS Fridge still makes ice and seems to works fine. However it will no longer dispense cubed or crushed ice. Water dispenses fine. Lights do dim on the panel when the lever is pressed for ice (cubed or crushed), but all other funtions/lights on the dispenser interface work fine. Nathan March 29, 2014 for Model Number GE PSS26LSRESS When I depress the Ice dispenser lever in the freezer door nothing will dispense. The buttons on the control panel still light up and allow me to select whether I want water or ice, but nothing will come out. What is the most likely culprit for causing this problem?
1 Answer Nathan, The first thing to check is to make sure that the control lockout is not set. If not then the most likely cause for the issue will be the main control board. What you will want to do is a voltage test at the main control board for power to the dispenser. On the J4 connector you will want to test for voltage to and from the dispenser. Check from pin 1 to 2 for 12vdc and from 2 to 3 for 12 vdc when the dispenser lever is pushed. If there is 12vdc at both locations then the main control WR55X10942C is faulty and would need to be replaced. If there is not 12 vdc then the issue will most likely be caused by the dispenser control board WR55X10415. Read More...
