Rick November 25, 2012 for Model Number Jbs23bb1wh I have a ge stove the oven isn't heating up to the temp the knob is set at. For instance I set the oven to 400 and it was only heating to about 275. Could you tell me if it's heating element or some other fixes thank you
1 Answer Hello Rick, You may want to check the ohm reading on the oven sensor. The ohm reading should be 1100 ohms at room temperature. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Charlene November 13, 2012 for Model Number Kenmore 911.9382991 Part # WB44M0001 I watched the "Repair Video" on this website and it said "Remove the two screws with a Phillips screwdriver." However, my bake element does not have screws! They are smooth and flat on top with octagonal edges. How do I loosen them? They are almost flush to the plate on the back wall.
1 Answer Hello Charlene. It sounds like you need to use a 1/4" nut driver to remove the screws in your oven. Read More...

Louie October 05, 2012 for Model Number Kenmore Range & Oven 911.9352190 The bake element on my oven does not heat at all. What should the voltage measurement be at the terminal wires without the element connected? Should it be 220VAC?
1 Answer Hello Louie. Yes, 240 volts AC at the element. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html Read More...
Louie October 05, 2012 for Model Number Kenmore Range & Oven 911.9352190 All Range burners and broil element work OK on this oven. The bake element does not heat up at all. Checked the element and it reads 22 Ohms across the leads. with the element disconnected, the voltage across the leads reads ~ 25VAC. When connected to the element voltage goes to near zero. What do you think is the problem? The element appears in good condition. Thanks, Louie
1 Answer Hello Louie. If the voltage not there, you have a bad control WB27K5137. This part has been permanently discontinued by the manufacturer and we don't know of any source or replacement for the part. Read More...
