Tim December 11, 2019 for Model Number JBP64B0B4WH I entered the exact model number of my GE oven when ordering a replacement baking element from AppliancePartsPros.com. When the replacement element arrived, it looked substantially different. The original element had a single thin metal plate that screwed to the back oven wall. The replacement element has a 2-part plate that pivots on 2 projecting pivot points (a "hinge") that prevent the plate from being secured flat against the back oven wall. In addition, the holes in the plate do not line up with the holes in the back oven wall. Those two differences prevented the proper installation of the replacement element. Why didn't I get the correct part? Or at least a part similar enough to be installed?
1 Answer Hello Tim, I looked up the model number provided, (JBP64BB4WH), and the part needed is WB44T10010. I'm sorry but the part you received is not correct for this model. Thank you for your patience and understanding in this matter. Read More...

Brian November 18, 2019 for Model Number GE BP68W0D2WW I replaced the oven element with model# WB44T10010. My concern is that the electrical connections to the element are only about 1/4 inch from the aluminum cover on the back of the range. It tested fine and there is no heat on the aluminum cover. My question is? Is the 1/4 inch space normal? Is it possible that the terminal connectors could arc to the aluminum cover? Thx.
1 Answer Brian, From the information you have provided the correct bake element for your oven should be part number WB44T10010 and as long as the back is not close enough to touch then you should be ok. Read More...

Debra August 17, 2019 The top heating element in my 18 year old GE range model J2B915SEHSS actually melted and peices fell into the dish I was broiling. Is the process of replacement similar to the replacement of the bottom heating element ? Does the melting of this element suggest a problem with the range or do I just need to replace the element itself ? Thanks for you help, Debbie
1 Answer Hello Debra, it sounds like the broil element part number WB30X46986 just need to be replaced. Yes, replacement should be similar other than the screws holding up the element. Thanks! Read More...
